Our Process of Research

'layering process' being able to see different shapes through a vary of layers looks really effective and forms a geometric pattern :)

PAPER> BEAUTIFUL DETAILED 3D ART PIECE.

Dev Harlan produces 3d installations with use of light, projection creating geometrics. Just an inspiration that we can produce 2d or 3d designs!

a lot of geometrics come from human made objects such as buildings and machines. If you notice the 'Eiffel tower consists of lots of shapes put together when formed'. these go unnoticed ,however there all around us in everyday life.

I found this indigo dye example was another inspiring piece. You can really look through the design here and it create a great sense of depth. This is also based on circles, so links in with our geometric theme. - Hannah 

I found this very inspirational due to the use of colour and the perspective. This piece is really effective and shows how built up layers of colour look - similar to what we are going to create. - Hannah 

Another great example of the use of layering in textiles. You can see here clearly how this has been built up. I think the use of colour and tone are interesting here and really add to the piece. A very 3D effect. - Hannah
