Someone told me this is a place to vent frustrations so here i am, for i have some concerns. Playing this game ive been able to tolerate a lot of its faults since theres a lot of fun things to do besides. Theres 11 dragon gods, which initially bothered me until i decided they could all just be the different sides of one, a metaphor for the different aspects of god’s power.

My exception to the different parts interpretation is shadow, plague, lightning, arcane, and fire who i associate more with satanic traits, and they are only 5 so naturally outnumbered in power as the minority. Water loses points for the whole clairvoyance thing which is its own problem, but seems relatively benign besides that so ill let it pass… I ended up choosing Light flight because it was the closest match for me.

I could accept the coliseum, brutal though it is, because in the lore theyre fighting corrupted creatures. I like to think my dragons are turning them back to the right path and the drops are offerings of gratitude. Bogsneaks tested my patience, since life can only be created by the divine and baldwin as a scientist splicing lifeforms really bothers me, but i just dont brew so i can ignore it easily enough.

Roundsey was a tough update. I don’t approve of gambling, and I don’t believe it has any place on a kid’s site, so I don’t participate. It makes me sad to think how much money that could have been put to good use is now just gone to the people who earned it, for nothing.

Of things i like about the game that made it worth it, was the fact that as a teen rated site blood isnt allowed, which is a safe thing to do. Only male and female dragons can breed and staff have no plans to change it, so i can rest easy. Incest is also impossible, so thats a double win for me.

I like the breeding possibilities and i like the majority of the modern breeds… (Except bogsbeaks). But ancient breeds is where i draw the line. Hard as it was to deal with multiple dragon gods i could appreciate that with the exception of abomination bogsneaks all dragon breeds were created at the same time and remained unchanged for millenia.

Ancient breeds turn all that on its head and reminds me too much of the evolution thats forced down our kids throats, and now its happening on this petsite as well. I mean honestly, dinosaur dragons? Thats completely ridiculous.

Like i said my patience has been tried time and time again and ive been able to tolerate these vicious assaults on my way of life, but i had hope that staff would make more updates over time and come to their senses and turn it around… But with the advent of these ghastly beasts, im not so sure. Im afraid theyll continue to go down this dark path and take us all with them.

I joined this game as an escape from my stressful life, just a fun little pet site with flaws I could handle, and pretty little animals.
