//the sudden ereasure of jounos blindness thru RP. This fandom is already ableist enough, to the point of headcanoning a CANONICALLY COMPLETLY BLIND MAN as just having weak eyesight. Pardon me?? Saying this as somebody who's HALF BLIND btw. Just because you cant RP as a blind man dosent mean you have to get rid of the blindness altogether.//

"I do. I'm just bored though, I made a promise to Jouno if he let me meet you I wouldnât do anything. I donât break promises like that." She folds her arms over her chest,
"You guys dont pose a real threat to us, at least not at this moment. I'm aware you and Jouno won't have the same dynamic as before but there was something desperate in his voice when he spoke to me."
She just fanned away the seriousness in her tone, "Anyway!"
âDesperate..? Yknow what. No, no Iâm not listening to you again cause iâm not an idiot!â Dazai scanned over her facial expression for a couple moments.
"I dont blame you for not believing me, but consider this. If I wanted you gone wouldnât I have taken you in the first chance I got, same with Jouno. If we wanted to take you in why havenât we already?"
"Why didnt I take you in as soon as I revealed my position? Seems stupid of me doesn't it? Reveal my position unarmed and unguarded? Stupid move on my part.. anyhow you have full right to distrust me and Jouno considering what we are and what you are. I donât deserve a second chance with you but Jouno is different I fear."
"Your choice although, trust is frail and I know that for a fact. If you want to trust him make him prove that you deserve to trust him. If he breaks your trust again feel free to never talk to him again, just give him a chance? I won't even ask for feedback on how it goes, hm what could a swear on."
She taps her foot on the ground, "Here I'll make an oath." She grabs a pocket knife and slides it across her palm beads of blood bubbling up, "My oath is that I swear on my position as vice-captain I will not comand a Hunt after the Port Mafia or you or the people whom you care about as long as the Port Mafia doesnt come after us. The oath means all information you share is protected and will not be monitored, I cannot command others to share information or report on this or command an investigation unless prior circumstances are met." She looks up. "Does that work? Give Jouno a second chance."
Dazai thought for a couple of moments. âFine. Iâll do your stupid oath. Give me the knife.â He muttered in response. âI swear that as the Demon Prodigy of the Port Mafia I will not call any assassinations, attacks, or any other miscellaneous acts of violence and terrorism toward the Hunting Dogs and as Osamu Dazai to give Jouno another chance.â
Dazai peeled back a little bit of his bandages in a spot he knew there were no cuts yet and made one across his skin before wiping the pocket knife off respectfully and handing it back to her. âThere. We have a deal.ââ
His voice held no emotion as this was all business to him.
"Thank you, Dazai." She stared at the knife for a second before just taking it back, "I know you have bandages already but since I was the one who started this oath, may I please help you clean that?" She asked being decently formal.
"If not please let me at least grab a roll of bandages for you since those dont look very clean."
âNo. Nuh uh. No. We already made the oath. No more.â He responded. Only three people were allowed to touch Dazaiâs bandages. Those were him, Mori , and occasionally Odasaku.
Plus, Mori knew the type of bandages he liked and were most comfortable and there was a lot in the Mafia bossâs office for himâ that they definitely lost money on but shh..
"Alright." She places her hands on her hips, "Yeah yeah got it." She eyes the bandages before running off and coming back a few minutes later "HEY! THINK FAST!" It was just bandages that she threw at him, "New rule you gotta take care of yourself." She mocked half joking half serious.
Dazai quickly ducked instead of catching the bandages. He looked behind him to see what they were before grabbing them. He didnât mind if they werenât the right brand honestly. âOh whatever. Youâre like eight or something in the military. Shortie.â He replied, rolling his eyes.âWell. Eye.
"I AM 12 THANK YOU VERY MUCH!" She points at him defensively, "I am not short just... veridically challenged!" She crosses her arms and turns to the side, pouting.
âStill. Arenât usually people eighteen before they even sign up for the militaryâŠ? That canât be legal.â He looked at her quizzically. How the hell was a police organization breaking child labor lawsâŠ?
"Its complicated." She shrugged not wanting to explain that shes technically 26 but just stays 12 because she never quite got a childhood. Also Because she feels more in character as her military persona when shes like this. Its a long story she wasnât going to explain.
âHow can an age be complicatedâ..?â He asked rhetorically, not expecting an answer. Dazai flicked her forehead for no particular reason other than to further make fun of her height.
Teruko quickly hits his hand away, not hard just out of instinct. "Top secret!" The vice-captain just sulks remembering the oath, âhmm.. okay well yâknow that war from a few years ago, I joined when I was 12 and I just donât feel like Iâve really grown up since. I donât even know my real age I stopped keeping track.â
she didnât really want to share this information so she sounded salty.
