good day! i’m castiel, returning from a very stressful period of time that kept me away from... basically everything. i’m returning on this blog and account after probably a year, and i’m happy to restart! the blog still need some fixing (mostly update of things), but everything is good and running, so!

« ... okay, so, f-first of all, rude. ». there’s a little stutter in his words, but it’s not because he feels intimidated by that figure in front of him. that’s blood withdrawal slowly kicking in, and the vicar not wanting to give him more. and why, he wonders! he’s been good! he’s done what he told him to do! he just, he just wants some, he’s so thirsty, damn it...! but regardless, his voice is maybe a little tense because of his personal problems, but flat and straight up annoyed as he talks. he even rises his hand, pointing up to make the other understand that he’s not over, and that he’s certainly not going to move away from the door he’s blocking. « y-you can die too, you know? it-it would be very useful, even! you’re m-making the vicar ve-very upset by keep coming here! so go die somewhere! o-outside, possibily, so we don’t have to clean, eh? »

he let’s out a brief but strong, very annoyed sigh.

NAME: lautrec. he used to have a surname, but he can’t really remember it, for how much he tries to.

ETHNICITY: in the sense of, like... what creature he is? i’m so bad at understanding words lately, i’m sorry. used to be a human; now, as bearer of the undead curse, he’s (as he defines himself) “something that’s not dead nor alive”.

REGION: carim.

RESIDENCE: he used to have one in carim, but now it’s long gone - though he never returned to carim up to now, he’s pretty sure it’s just a pile of dust now. he never had another residence since he left it.

AVERAGE HOURS OF SLEEP: what is sleep. not caring about his sleep schedule (and himself in general), lautrec spends even days without sleeping at all, eventually ending more falling unconscious than sleeping. it’s honestly already a lot if he manages to get a couple of hours of rest from those moments.

TYPE OF BED: what is a bed. taking away those few moments when lautrec has been put on a bed (while unconscious, of course, because otherwise he wouldn’t let anyone force him to a rest), lautrec usually sleeps on the floor. he can happen to fall unconscious while sitting, too, though he needs to be resting his back on a surface like a wall - thing that, exactly because he might fall asleep, he tends to avoid usually.

AMOUNT OF BLANKETS: WHAT IS-- okay sfhk we got the point i’ll stop. being someone that falls unconscious most than anything else, he never sleeps in blankets unless it’s a particular situation. his only cover is the armor.

AMOUNT OF PILLOWS: none. if he rests his head on anything at all, it’s his arms.

TYPE OF CLOTHING: he doesn’t have sleeptime clothing - as said before, he falls asleep in his armor unless someone takes it off of him.

DO THEY SLEEP WITH COMPANY? usually, no. if it happens, it’s again because he falls unconscious between people - which can be a good sign, that lautrec doesn’t show to trust you but he does, after all.

DO THEY SLEEP WITH PUSHIES? no. he would lose them anyway.

DO THEY SLEEP BETTER WITH COMPANY? actually, no. while being alone he might not notice someone approaching, sleeping with someone makes him sleep less, more agitated, and anxious dreams can snap him back in the real world very fast. he gets very paranoid with company.

DOES IT MATTER WHERE THEY SLEEP? not at all, he doesn’t care. if he can avoid waking up surrounded by creatures it would be better, though, so just... somewhere that’s at least a bit safe?

FREQUENT DREAMS, NIGHTMARES? he mostly blacks out while sleeping, to be fair. but sometimes, only sometimes, he might sleep of something vaguely familiar, which is probably a memory... but if often gets distorted in a nightmare, snapping him awake.

WHAT DO THEY DO IF THEY CANNOT FALL ASLEEP? those rare cases in which he actually tries to sleep but he can’t, he can either stand up and keep on going, or he finds some conversation to overhear - a favourite hobby of his. some good infos are important these days, might as well spend the time doing something productive.

DEEP SLUMBER OR NAPS? if he falls unconscious, he at least falls in it good. sounds of a fight might wake him up, but you can generally talk at normal voice beside him while he sleeps and he won’t wake up at all.

WHEN DO THEY WAKE UP? there’s not a specific moment, really. as soon as he gets back to his senses, which can be in any time of the day.

WHEN DO THEY SLEEP? when he can’t stay awake any longer.

WHAT COULD WAKE THEM UP? sounds of a fight, very loud noises... but mostly screams. screams wake him up immediately, even when they’re very far.

lautrec stops, taking a moment before turning his attention towards the new voice that appeared so suddenly - and that didn’t scare him the slightest, despite him not expecting it. and then, there’s a long moment of silence as the embraced stares at the figure in front of him, then his own arm - weirdly twisted in the most innatural position, fingers twitching every now and then but still for the most part, dangling on his side as it follows its owner’s movements -, and then the figure again.

a long moment of stillness and silence separates the vicar’s sentence from any of lautrec’s answers. the - so considered - experiment simply glances at the room, then at the one he sees as someone so much higher than him, then at the room again with the biggest knot in the throat that guilt can give. and his hands push the broken vial previously filled with blood a little deeper in his clothes’ pocket.

he should say that he’s the one that had a moment of loss of control and almost destroyed the room, but... the vicar would get mad at him again...!
