I used to not understand how people could fall for facism, then I found the HDG fandom and I was like “oh I get it know”

This is NOT to say that people who are into HDG is inherently fascistic or bad people (after all l wouldn’t be here if I didn’t enjoy HDG). My point is that when authoritarianism appeals to someone’s own values and desires they can be less likely to be critical about it.

The whole point of this blog has been to get people to think more critically about the setting (in addition to making silly jokes), the Affini is a really interesting and unique society (in addition to also being hot). Infact there are alot of people who are, and it’s always amazing to see it.

Keep enjoying HDG, but keep your head on straight. You are smart, don’t be afraid to poke at the setting and your own views.
