I want to earn my own money and share a flat with strangers who grow to be my best friends, I want to be independent and travel the world, be open minded and meet new people while becoming more mature and experiencing life in its fullest. I want to be strong on my own and do the things I love without giving a shit about what others might think, I want to be rebellious and be part of a revolution, one that finally changes our society for the better, giving equal rights and ending sexism. I want to fall in love spontaneously, without expecting anything of it and receiving more than I’ve ever wished for. But then on the other hand, I feel like I want to stay at home forever, not leaving all the things that are so familiar and made me the way I am now. I am scared to leave the bed that has kept me safe at night through my childhood or the swing in the backyard that has calmed me when I was at my worst. I am afraid to lose friends and family, that independence never comes without loneliness.
