I hope ppl will understand the lack of activity on this blog. Finals are the main reason, but also cause I run too many blogs..this is my own fault, and I understand if I lose followers cause I am not on much, but I hope you all understand and can be patient with me♥

✦ — The raven haired male was indeed surprised to see Marlene’s mother. A young mother at least. If he had to guess the older woman’s age; it would have seem that the dark haired girl was about 2 years older than him. Course it wasn’t his place to say. Hearing the little girl introducing him to her mother, the Heir simply nodded and returned a smile. ❝ I was glad to help. It would a be shame to see the money she used to buy the ice cream go to waste. You know?❞

Tifa gave another nod as she gently pat the top of Marlene’s head. The young girl turned back to the male and then back to her mother, whispering something very quietly. Tifa was unsure, but she couldn’t resist her charm. When Marlene turned back to Noctis, she had a huge grin. “ Hey! How about we repay you buy..giving you a free meal at our bar! Drink included! “

✦ — Meeting her mother? That was an odd thing for the little girl to ask the Heir and besides; he probably thought that the girl’s mother would find it odd. Her daughter bringing a stranger? That sounded like Stranger Danger. If the roles were switched, Noctis wouldn’t like it one bit. Perhaps he can get some directions from her mother. “Meet your mother?” he questioned once more before slowly nodding his head in agreement. “Alright, sure. I’ll meet your mother. Maybe I can ask her for directions. Shall we get going Marlene?” 

“ Yay! Of course! Let’s go. “ She smiled wide as she pulled his hand toward the direction of where her mother was sitting. As she brought him to her, Tifa already had a concerned look, but Marlene explained the situation quickly. “ This is Noctis! He helped me out earlier, he’s really nice. “ Tifa was glad to hear and gave a smile. ‘ Well, I’m glad to hear that. Thank you Noctis. ‘

“ Hehe..you are so sweet! Thank you! I appreciate it. “ Marlene was happy to get along with the male so well, she loved making friends and hopefully he wouldn’t feel weird calling her that soon. “ Oh, I see. That’s what me and my mom are doing actually, getting some grocery’s. She is probably wondering where am I... “ She wanted to go back, but part of her didn’t want to leave him. “ Hmm, do you want to meet her? “ It wasn’t something Marlene did normally, but she thought it would be a good way to continue spending time with him.

Today we went on a roadtrip. We played Grimes & Purity Ring in the car, then stopped once we saw this waterfall. No one was there apart from us, we saw otters swimming and jumping from rock to rock. It was tranquil.

“Noctis..that’s such a lovely name!! I like it!” She smiled wide, the young one always loved meeting new people. “My name is Marlene. I live in the city too, kind of, what’s left of this city anyways..but it’s home!” She let go of her embrace and took another lick of her treat. “I hope I’m not taking you away from any of your responsibilities. Or are you visiting here?”

✦ — A gleeful smile appeared on his face, sapphire irises staring at the young girl. At least she was happy to get another stranger; despite asking a total stranger. Taking a lick of his own ice cream he had bought wit hers, Noctis averted his gaze away for a moment followed by a slight tilt of his head to the side. There wasn’t anything for her to repay him. “It’s quite alright little one. No need to repay me. I was glad to help.” 

“ Alright! If you say so! I just feel bad giving you nothing in return.. “ Marlene was all about bringing smiles to people’s faces, even if it was only for a small moment. “ I know! How about a hug? “ Her arms opened wide and she embraced his leg tight, letting out a small laugh.

This one needs a bit more detail work, but I’m leaving that for later because if I have to look at this for one more minute I’m going to spontaneously combust

✦ — A chuckle escaped through his lips upon seeing the child’s gleeful look. Who knew that a kid would get excited over the most simplest thing. Though he shouldn’t be the one talking since he did the exact same thing back in his younger youth. “You’re welcome. Now hopefully it won’t meet with the same fate as your other one.” 

“ Yeah I hope not! “ Whoever that kid was, he had no manners. He didn’t even apologize for making Marlene drop her ice cream, but that didn't matter, because now she had a new one and was really grateful. “ I wish I could repay you, is there anything I can do for you? “
