There is no point to all this dialogue, all this time wasted, if Sarada is not the birth child of Karin. Furthermore, there is no lesson to be learned for Sarada if she just ends up being Sakura’s birth child. At the end of this chapter, Sarada throws a fit over not being Sakura’s birth child and doesn’t even acknowledge her as her mother. Which is completely wrong because a mother goes beyond genetics. Who raises you is your parent. Which is the theme that has been established in this very chapter. Once again, if Sakura is the biological mother, then there is nothing to learn for Sarada. There is no life lesson, no coming of age, nothing would change, their lives would go back to as they were at the beginning of the Gaiden and there would be no point to this Gaiden at all.

Translation: I have no faith in Sakura’s abilities as a kunoichi and don’t think she is even strong enough to take care of herself, much less both of you. I do not think of her as a ninja, just a woman to bear my child that needed to be protected. By Naruto. And the village that treated my family like shit. Sarada will be fine right?

I didn’t know I had a kid

Translation: I don’t love Sakura, I only saw her as a sex object and didn’t care for the consequences of having sex and never coming back.

Translation #2: Wait, I never even touched Sakura, where the hell did this kid come from? Sakura, explain.

Translation: I already have high standards for my kids and didn’t think you were worthy until you were strong enough for me. If you had graduated earlier you would’ve met me earlier, so you’re already off to a bad start kid.

No, but seriously Sakura doesn’t deserve this treatment. Her character turned out to be one of the most tragic. All of the growth and development she had, gone!

Honestly though, the SS-fandom kind of deserved it. After months of rubbing this damn pairing in our faces, you finally got your karma.

We constantly told you the nature of your pairing and we constantly told you Sasuke never cared about Sakura, but all you did was call us ‘Salty’ and ‘Delusional’. Now that reality finally hit you in the face, all you want to do is bitch. I honestly feel so bad for the nice and kind SS fans though.

I’m already anticipating SS fans going “HA! TOLD YOU Sakura IS strong and in charge! Eat your words, you hating fucks!!” once we find out what her occupation is in Konoha. Because let’s be real, she probably does have one. She’s paying off that monthly mortgage bill somehow. That’s not the problem though.

The problem is that she’s become an emotionally unstable, abusive, isolated, physically exhausted, dishonest mess. That’s what we’ve been shown of her since 699. 

Look at chapter 700. Although I am very, very unhappy with the portrayal of many of the female characters and their bastardization at Kishimoto’s hands, they’ve fared better than Sakura. We see Ino training her child, Tenten running a business, Temari maintaining her relationship with her extended family. I’d even argue that Hinata goes beyond the role of ‘housewife only’ by showing her at Neji’s grave with her daughter (though zero mention about Hinata doing anything about the Huuyga’s mutilation practices…wasn’t she supposed to be clan head? Her little sister truly does seem better suited to the job at this point). 

Naruto is Hokage, Shikamaru is his advisor, Choji’s the clan head, Rock Lee’s training as hard as ever with his son.

But Sakura? She’s talking to her kid about boy problems and cleaning house at a time of day where everyone else is training or at work. And this was before we got an even closer look at her life in Naruto Gaiden.

I don’t give a shit if we find out Sakura’s running her own hospital ward in the next chapter. The first chapter has already implied that her job really isn’t particularly important, not even important enough to be mentioned in passing to give as an indication she actually works. No, we just know she gives into temper tantrums and violent rages with her child and plays arts and crafts with old pictures of Sasuke. Sasuke, who has not been presented as giving a single fuck about her other than that cringeworthy head poke after she begged to follow after him like a twit.

SS always tries so hard with diversions. Making a billion graphics and essays about how Salad is definitely Sakura’s kid doesn’t make up for the fact that SS is canonically a pile of depressing, demeaning horseshit. Sakura having a job won’t make her mess of a life and screwed up relationship with her daughter somehow undone. If Sasuke ends up coming back and playing happy family it won’t erase the fact that he fucked off for 12 years and has yet to give any indication that he even likes Sakura, much less loves her. But they fucked once, right? That’s all they about because there’s nothing else of substance they have to support their claims.

I don’t understand why being a mother to Sasuke’s is such an all-encompassing plot point for Sakura to the point that that’s all we know about her. She’s not Team Taka or one of the Sand Siblings, who had supremely fucked up family lives such that seeing them raise healthy, stable families of their own would actually mean something special. Sakura was for all intents and purposes the one with the loving home and two normal embarrassing parents who made corny jokes and asked her to clean up her room.

this is the guy who said his friends’ sufferings are his own suffering, well he sure doesn’t seem to be giving a fuck about the fact that literally his two closest friends have been suffering for 12 whole fucking years

Like, seriously? You think they would allow something like that to take place in a novel about the characters of a Shounen manga for KIDS? Really? You are having second thoughts if it really happened? You want a confirmation of its validity? 

And even if you hate Sakura or SasuSaku or anyone, must you condone this kind of awful and disgusting act just to satisfy your hatred on someone? I mean don’t get me wrong, I hate so many things in this world. I HATE LIVING AND BREATHING PEOPLE BUT I NEVER WISH RAPE TO ANYONE OF THEM.  

I wonder how old are these people. Maybe you can say you are just trolling or whatever, it is not funny in any way you look at it.
