He couldn’tdeny it. You looked nervous as heck, even though you were trying so hard not tomake it obvious. If one looked closely, your hands and knees were shaking, youwere starting to look pale and upon holding your hand, it was sweating andcold.

Huh. So muchfor meeting his family, right?

Tokugawa:

You resistedthe urge to just run out of the room, screaming for dear life but thankfully,Tokugawa was there to keep you calm...even if just for a few minutes.

Honestly, you hated the idea of meeting his parents, wait no,his family but what could you do? Things were already serious andsooner or later, you would have to meet them. The horror.

The both of youstopped in front of a traditional Japanese house, and you immediately knew thatit belonged to his Grandparents. Which means...

Ohhhhh dear.

“Kazuya?” Youlooked at the said male.

“Yes?”

“Please don’ttell me that not only am I meeting your parents but also your...”

“Grandparents?Yes, you’ll have to meet them. I’m sorry, my older sister told them, so...”Tokugawa looks away from you but wait. Older sister?

“You have anolder sister?”

He blinks atyou. “I didn’t tell you?”

Ohhh dear.

And so, aftermuch persuading, Tokugawa was able to lead you inside the old-fashioned andwell-cared house.

Surprisingly,everything actually went. . .pretty well. 

Tokugawa’sgrandparents were kind people and they didn’t bombard you with unusualquestions or whatever. His parents seemed very strict and uptight at first butthey gradually warmed up to you once Tokugawa mentioned that you supported himin everything he does and everything was really serious at this point. Last butnot the least, his older sister. 

At first, shedidn’t pay attention to you at all but she started taking notice of you whenshe learned that you also had the same passion for tennis as her littlebrother. Well, it was better than outright getting a zero approval rating fromher, right?

“Hey,” Tokugawacalls out to you. “You look better than earlier before meeting them.” Youlet out a small laugh.

“Ah, well. Ididn’t expect them to receive me in a kind manner, you know? But at least itkinda ended well. . .” 

Ryoga:

"Waaaait.Are you really sure about this? I mean, it’s not like I don’t want to meetthem, but. . .” You and Ryoga were standing in front of the Echizen’shousehold, hesitating whether to go or not. 

Ryoga only laughs and opens the door.

“It’s fine. They don’t kill or bite, I promise.”

You sighed. “Alright. We’re already here, so. . .”

And so, Ryoga pulls you inside the traditional Japanese home andannounces your arrival.

“I’m home!”

Soon enough, you heard footsteps just as Ryoga was leading youto the living room.

“Ryoga-san, you’re here! Ah, and so is your girlfriend!” It wasNanako, a cousin of Ryoga, as he had explained to you earlier while walking tohis humble abode. Like how the green-haired described her, she looked very kindand she had a very mature aura around her. In short, the woman looked elegantand kind at the same time.  

“Ah, hey. Nanako-san, meet ___. ____, my cousin. Where’s my oldman?” Ryoga asks.

“Oh, uncle? I think he’s still asleep at the back again. Let meget you and ___ some drinks first!” Nanako hurried off to the kitchen as youtook a seat on the couch. Huh. So far, so good.

And again, another set of footsteps.

This time though, it was Ryoga’s father. And you couldn’tbelieve your eyes when you saw him.

“Old man.” Ryoga calls out to him.

The man yawns and opens his eyes as he sets his sights on hisson. “Ah, Ryoga, you’re home already? Oh, right, you said you were going tobring someone along. . .” The man’s gaze turns to you, however, and he realizeswhat was going on. “Ohhh so you’re introducing a girl! Haha, Ryoga you. . .”  

“Uh. . .” You attempted to say something, to no avail. Goodthing this guy seemed. . .nice enough.

“Nice to meet ya! I’m Ryoga’s dad, Echizen Nanjiro! Nice to havea cute girl like you around here.”

“Oh, uh. . . Nice to meet you too. I’m ____ _____.”

“Stop flirting, old man. Mom’s gonna screw you over if she’shere.”

“Not to worry! She won’t be here until a few minutes beforedinner. Speaking of which, ___-chan, you are staying over right? You still needto meet this boy’s brother and mother after all!”

You looked at Ryoga first, who gave you a shrug, meaning you’dhave to decide whether to stay here until dinner. Well, the purpose of thevisit was to introduce you to the whole family, right? So. . .

You smiled. “I would love to stay. If it’s okay, of course.”

 Reinhardt:

You looked over at the blond guy beside you, unsure of whetheryou must intrude in his family’s humble abode, as it’s a family gatheringtoday, according to him.

He only smiles.

“It’s fine, trust me.”

You sigh. “If you say so.” You’ve been dating Ralph for such a long time and little were the times where he said “Trust me” and something bad happened. This guy had your complete trust, just as you had his and would never have it in any other way.

Soon enough the both of you are inside his parents’ house (where the reunion was being held) and after a few introductions to people here and there, you found yourself actually being able to enjoy the time.

Well, only because you haven’t met Ralph’s parents yet. 

“Whew. I’ve been meeting a lot of people today but I how come I haven’t seen your parents yet?” You ask. He shrugs. “They’re probably busy? Since it is a reunion after many years.”

“But I guess it’s fine since you’re currently meeting future family members.” 

You feel your cheeks get hot at his statement as you cross your arms. “You can’t be so sure though! I mean--”

Your reply was soon cut short by an elderly woman and man approaching you and Reinhart, the familiar shade of dark blue hinting that the former was closely related to the boy you like to call your boyfriend.

-  His s.o. would be more likely to tell Mouri rather than Ochi that they like Ochi at firstsince s.o. would be rather scared of Ochi’s reaction. Ochi and his s.o. wouldonly get together through Mouri’s intervention.

-  He doesn’t really care if his s.o. is someone who’s also quiet like himor energetic. He just wants them by his side.

-  He’s like a huge teddy bear so s.o. definitely takes advantage of thisand hugs him whenever they can . . . In private of course.

“Uhh. . .” Youshuffle nervously as you struggle to answer his question. Well, you were caughtred-handed so what else could you say? You obviously played tennis (well,street tennis) because Ryoga caught you rallying against the wall and hewatched you for like… minutes before he decided to greet you.  

“Wait. That wasa useless question! You obviously do.” Ryoga started to throw an orange up anddown.

“But why didn’tyou tell me though? We could’ve played against each other!”

You huffed.“That’s the problem! I’m not a national-level player like you are, you know? Soit’s just embarrassing to play against you. . .”

Ryoga onlylaughs and hits your head lightly with the orange.

“Idiot. Itshould be fine you know, since you can learn some new stuff from me and viceversa.”

“But what inthe world can you learn from me?”

He smiles.“Well, for starters. . . How about how to defeat you?”

“Whyyou---!”  

Irie:

“_____, youplay tennis…?”

You couldn’t chokeout an answer so you only stared at Irie with huge eyes, dumbfounded.

"W-Why didn’t you tell me? I thought I was important to you, but...!” 

“That’s not the case at all! And stop acting!” 

Irie chuckled and smiled at you. “So, you play street tennis, right?” 

You nodded. “Yeah... I just couldn’t tell you because it’s kind of... embarrassing, you know? I mean, you’re like way more skilled than me. Like, I only play street tennis and you--”

“But tennis is still tennis no matter where you play it, right?” 

You blinked. “Well, yes. But--!” 

“Ah... You don’t want to listen to me? But I thought that you...-”

“Irie!! I swear, I’ll hit you with a tennis ball if you even think of--”

“...Loved me! ____!” 

“Irie!”

“But you know, I think you can be better than me at tennis.”

“...I can’t treat you right now.”

“I’m not acting this time!”

Ochi:  

Silence. Deafening silence. 

“I. . .did not expect to see you here of all places.” Ochi stares at you through his long bangs. Dang, now you knew why people was easily intimated facing this guy.

“Uhh... Do you want me to explain?” Wait. What was there to explain? It was obvious you were just leaving the tennis courts and it was obvious you played because of the tennis bag you were carrying. 

“There is no need. Although I would like to know...” Oh dear. You started to sweat, not because of the heat but because you were a bit hesitant to say why.

“Why I didn’t tell you?” He nodded.

“Uh...” You gulped. Your throat felt dry despite downing a whole bottle of water just a while ago and you could only stare at this tall guy, not knowing how to answer that question.

“Y-You know...” You finally said after another long period of silence. “It’s kinda embarrassing to tell someone who’s basically national-level. I mean, I play street tennis and you’re already heading towards an international cup...” 

“So, you believe I would. . .make fun of you?” He asks.

“More like, underestimate me, actually.”

“You know, I wouldn’t.”

“I know, but I’m just making sure, you know?” 

And just a little bit, you wanted to start playing tennis with him.

Kimijima:

“K-K-Kimijima-kun! What are you doing here?” Ok, now let’s be a bit realistic here. What on earth is a famous teen idol/actor/tennis player doing in a street tennis courts? As your memory serves, he does not have any interest in stalking you or whatsoever. Guy has too much to handle in his life. 

“Ah, ___. You didn’t tell me you played tennis too.” Kimijima ignored your question as he folds his arms, expecting you to answer. 

“T-That’s because I play street tennis!” 

“And what difference does it have with tennis not played in the streets?”

“That’s not the point you know!” Yeah, the point was that you believed you sucked. Compared to him, anyway.

“Then please explain.” Oh crap.

“Uhhhh...” You began shuffling from one foot to the other.

“You do know how you’re basically a whole other level than me right now, right?”

“No. Because we haven’t played each other yet.” He smiles.

“That’s...! But we’re not on the same level. . .”

I actually had a headcanon that Byo-guy frequently messed around with girls with Duke when they were a bit younger than now. 

Actually my first thought when Byo-guy decided to...kidnap the mafiosi’s wife and cue the ensuing scenes was basically: “Congratulations, Byodoin. You just ruined everyone’s day at the beach and made the poor MSers run to the streets almost naked.” Yep.

Guh. So I wasn’t able to fulfill my promise to update this weekend, and I will tell you why.

So, as some of you might know, a typhoon landed here in the Philippines and just my luck, it just had to be strong enough to cause a black out in the city I live in. Almost 98% of the city had no access to electricity for two days and the thing is I planned to finish the requests on Friday and Saturday, which are the two days with no electricity. And it’s Sunday night now, so hooray. //shot
