Crafty

A little rainbow zebra made from a fat quarter I picked up before Johann's closed. I have enough for one more, which I'll put together some other day.

The original plans with this Skipper head were to remove her hair and reroot, but I liked the way her bangs flipped so I pulled out a portion and flocked the back instead. It's a little sparse in spots. I think I can water down some glue so I can apply more flock without disturbing what's there too much.

I worry she's suffering. I worry about Momo's stress level. She's the one that woke me up at three in the morning. She kept waking me up all early morning today, more than usual. Gators and I may have a hard talk ahead of us. Chantico seems vacant. She's happy to be near me, but is that enough?

We went to Goodwill, which isn't a place we visit often. Savers gets the bulk of the donations since it's more convenient to get to, so there's not as much to go through. But, I did find Elphaba. She should clean up nicely. Her hair isn't as bad as it may look. I like her boots. I wish she had her bag. I looked up the complete doll and her bag is lovely. Maybe I'll get lucky and find it one day.

Most of the small tubes haven't been used at all. The ones that have are barely touched. The yellow big tubes are the lightest, with about a third left. The rest are pretty full.

She's still my sweetheart shadow cat. Momo wants to cuddle frequently, but I think if Gators gave her as much attention as I do when she asks for it I wouldn't see her as much.

This bird was oblivious for a good minute before it saw Momo.

It's fun to see both Pips side by side. Makes me want to make another with the lighter fuchsia but without the foam/wire.
