I may have posted about this before so forgive me if I have but I’ll always remember my plane being about to take off and as it was whizzing down the runway, I’m looking out the window and I see a plane off the runway on fire… I’m like what the fuck is going on?? but something about how people were gathered round it seemed pretty staged so I was like I guess this is an emergency training exercise? but gosh as a passenger seeing that without context is a little bit concerning 😭

the elderly really feel the need to apologise for their existence when they need help it’s sickening. especially elderly women. we have a society where we make the elderly feel like burdens who need to beg forgiveness )):

I dropped my medication on the ground and I was so scared my dog would eat it…. he’s deaf too so I didn’t even think he’d know I would be distressed by this. but I shouted no really loudly and he was startled by it and didn’t chase it so maybe he’s not as deaf as I thought 😖 that was a close one

due to some unforeseen circumstances that have absolutely nothing to do with myself like people sending me broken links and not making their job pages decipherable I will be subbing my thursday afternoon work for working potentially all of saturday 🥴
