this is contrasted with leopards, who are so beautiful that they realise it is their mission to get rid of all hominids, who are ugly. so them and their ancestors have been carrying out this sacred task for millions of years at this point, going for one new hominid species after another. they pass this duty on generation after generation. the other animals who kill us are enemies of the leopards, as all animals understand it must be the leopards to destroy us. the orca and cheetahs know this, so they have the respect of leopards. as for how it’s going, we are currently the only hominid species that is extant, so really they’re doing excellently. the current situation is an aberration and they know it will all still end with us safely tucked in their jaws. anyway my religious sect is currently taking donations so we can free all captive leopards
