a few months ago, when i was looking up other people's ocs as inspiration for what to name an oc - because i suck at naming my ocs - the google ai hallucinated "cucumber jelly" as being a totally real pony that was totally real in the show. i didn't screenshot it so you'll have to believe me but it did link to this reddit post so credits to this guy's random neural network session i suppose.

ANYWAYS about my NEW OC

in my mind she's like one of those random blind bag exclusives that only exist to get unsuspecting children addicting to pony-flavoured gambling. i wrote this in the image but like for screen readers (i'm sorry for my typing quirks screen readers ok anyways) in my mind she would have the pinkie pie mold.

i really like a lot of the blind bag ponies like i know the quality of the toy is whatever But also firecracker is awesome. I quite like pepperdance. I've drawn flippity flop before. I still dream about a brushable firecracker. I enjoy their colours greatly. Just because the quality of the toy itself is kind of iffy doesn't take away my enjoyment of the concepts of these ponies. God i wish a brushable firecracker was real.

ANYWAYS

Sorry. Excuse my outburst. Cucumber Jelly is a humble cucumber farmer who's lived in Ponyville her whole entire life. Her cutie mark is a can of cucumber jelly, with 3 cucumbers on the side, and a random leaf as a garnish of sorts. I just kind of added the random leaf to add something to it, because it felt so empty without it. No i don't know what it is, that's why it's a random leaf.

She's holding a can of cucumber jelly because She Is Cucumber Jelly also because i wanted to pose her doing something that wasn't just standing there. I don't have any other ocs to pair her off with (when i say "pair" this automatically includes platonic relationships to me, but as i'm typing i realize this isn't automatically the case to others, therefore i must clarify), but Pinkie Pie would probably be her friend because she is friends with everypony :> She probably has relations (once again, platonic) with Applejack due to them both being (fruit) farmers.

OC interaction is probably awesome but do keep in mind she is literally Just Some Mare™. Like imagine a background pony. No tragic backstory, no special powers, no hate to those things i do have ocs with those, but if you feel super inspired to draw our ocs together (for?? some reason??) then keep that in mind pl0x ^_^

she's real. this is a real pony that exists. you can own her physically if you really want to honestly i prefer g3 flippity flop over g4 toy-wise.

i wanted to combine both mane colors into 1. her blind bag photos seem to use red more than pink so she gets pink streaks now.

this is when i didn't know how i wanted to draw the background but i still had a vision. it was just. annoying to translate. in a way that i liked. it's still whatever but it could've been waaaayyyyyyyyy worseeeeeeee (oooorrrrr thrown back into the "wips folder" for another 3-4 years, which would've been waaaayyyyyyyyy moreeeeeeee likelyyyyyyyyyyyy)
