At first, she was a little frustrated with the rule, having to edge once before leaving the house. “What if I’m late?” she asked me. “Whose fault would that be? I could make it more edges if you keep complaining. You are a grown woman. You should be able to manage your schedule.” I reminded her. All she could say was “Yes, sir”. She learned quickly to leave enough time to edge. It helped if she edged earlier in the day. I also gave her an extra incentive, for every minute she was late, she would add another day to her denial.
