Even though Saiki was closer to Toritsuka's group because they know his secret, I get the feeling Saiki was probably more attached to Kaido's group because they liked him without knowing about his powers (in contrast to Toritsuka's group where they liked him for his powers). But then again, they all probably piss him off equally.
