-So, bantha in the room: you will notice Djovi has acrofacial vitiligo. Why? Well, if you go into their wiki entry, one of the sources is the archived backup link to artist Betsy Bauer defunct webpage, in which she posted her portfolio, including character explorations for Djovi. And in those, they have vitiligo in two of them. I actually found this interesting, so I did research on vitiligo, and decided that Djovi would develop it in 229 bby, but it would become prominent in 228 bby, in all that time, them and the Tenoo Younglings stayed on Coruscant due to the recall order from the crisis at the time.

-Their lightsaber hilt can change length to use a similar combat style to their Master, Burryaga, but the crossguard is directly meant to be similar to the one Avar Kris’s wielded, since she was Djovi’s favorite Jedi. (And had Trials not happened, she would have been the ideal choice for their Master)

-And their droid: Swisy, a droid with a rotating wheel with more tool arms than a standard astromech (yes, Swisy is for Swiss knife). She’s a droid Djovi noticed abandoned at the Coruscant temple when they and their friends went to help with a fellow youngling, and with the help of Nash, Djovi was able to get the droid functional again.

The US Government is currently trying to pass an incredibly dangerous national law for trans youth called HR 2616.

This bill would ban all Federally funded schools from teaching about gender identity or sexual orientation, prevent teachers from using the correct pronouns and names for trans students, remove books with any trans representation in them, and even go as far as to prevent teachers from acknowledging trans identity AT ALL.

Any school that does not follow this will lose all federal funding. This bill would also require teachers to forcibly out trans students to their families, which would be fatal to any trans student with a transphobic Family or just hateful family in general. Trans people are already a group that already has some of the highest rates of being victim to suicide, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

This bill actively makes teachers put those innocent children at such a big risk. This bill has rapidly passed the house this week with support from all 209 republicans, as well as 8 democrats. But, it's still being voted on in the senate, which means there is still time to help stop this.

To help stop this, you can visit 5calls.org (look up 2616 in the search bar), one of the most top issues filed Oppose Attacks on LGBTQ+ Students. Once you put in your general location, it will pull-up contact information for your senator, and give you a script for calling them.

If you are a minor and/or do not feel comfortable doing this, PLEASE repost this on here, or any other platform you are on/can find! This needs to be heard and fought against.

I’m happy with what we got with Cyrus

Nash took it upon herself to repair de droid, cleaning him up from the rust in the process. She repaired his head first, bringing him online.

At first, NX-88 was apprehensive, feeling some loyalty to his old pirate crew. But as time went on, he warmed up to Nash’s kindness, recognizing how awful e was treated by the Ganguls.

Thanks to her fellow mechanic friends, Inaya, Cyrus and Rek. Plus parts from both Dotti and Marlaa, NX-88 got a good as new body, with even a proper leg unlike his old peg like one.

Once repaired, he offered himself to Nash’s service, which she accepted since jobs with her family’s company were increasing, and she needed a crew. And he took the nickname of Nexeight.

A disabled by injury Vuundalian (I’m going with that for Cyrus’s species until someone at Lucasfilm confirms otherwise) girl. As a young girl after her injury and rehab, she used a leg braved to stabilize her leg, and forearm crutches to walk. As she grew up, she still needed the brace, but was able to walk, with only a crutch as a support aid. The crutches also have an electro taser function because Cyrus Vuundir made them.

As a child, Bellie was being taken to an orphanage on the Bri'ahl sector. She was going alone on a ship piloted by a droid, when it was suddenly attacked by what would later be discovered as a Nihil Scav Droid (this happening before The Rising Storm and the Valo attack). Cyrus, no longer a pirate, was traveling with his crew nearby when he got the alert. When he arrived, the ship’s hull was broken and Bellie was floating in space with a breathing mask, unconscious.

Cyrus quickly grabbed his helmet and repelled to take her into his ship. Once inside, he noticed she was heavily injured on right leg, and so he told EB-3 to rush to the nearest hospital…which happened to be on Tenoo.

Once in the hospital, the doctors treated her, and he didn’t left her side while she was unconscious, even as the Jedi went to investigate the then mysterious droid.

When she woke up, she thank him for what he did, and he nervous brushed it off as it was nothing. The doctors told her that her leg would never fully heal, but with proper rehab and the right equipment, she would recover mobility.

Cyrus promised to give her whatever she would need, even designing specialized crutches for her with the help of his friends.

She and Cyrus eventually grew closer, forming a relationship that his parents didn’t approve because she wasn’t nobility.

Djovi was a bit more hesitant, which lead to Kai mediating the two a lot.

What warmed Djovi to Cyrus was precisely his kindness to Bellie. Specifically being willing to travel to Tenoo often just to check on her recovery.
