So let me take the change to elaborate on a character I posted about a while back

Meet Aras

A trans Enby Ghorman kid.

At 7 years old, they were beginning to feel uncomfortable with the gender they were assigned at birth, but they lost their parents in an accident before they could talk to them about it.

Their uncle then sold them to slavers, who not only treated them like the gender they no longer felt comfortable with, but never taught them them how to speak basic, only to understand it. Leaving them to feel like they didn’t had a voice.

Then they were rescued, and not only did the Jedi made feel like they were listening to, but let them open up to how they feel about their identity.

Aras isn’t their birth name, but they name they choose in memory of their parents, Aren and Asari. A name the chose when they were ask who they were right after being rescued. And now lives with a loving family. A family that understands them, and helps them communicate with others.

-So, bantha in the room: you will notice Djovi has acrofacial vitiligo. Why? Well, if you go into their wiki entry, one of the sources is the archived backup link to artist Betsy Bauer defunct webpage, in which she posted her portfolio, including character explorations for Djovi. And in those, they have vitiligo in two of them. I actually found this interesting, so I did research on vitiligo, and decided that Djovi would develop it in 229 bby, but it would become prominent in 228 bby, in all that time, them and the Tenoo Younglings stayed on Coruscant due to the recall order from the crisis at the time.

-Their lightsaber hilt can change length to use a similar combat style to their Master, Burryaga, but the crossguard is directly meant to be similar to the one Avar Kris’s wielded, since she was Djovi’s favorite Jedi. (And had Trials not happened, she would have been the ideal choice for their Master)

-And their droid: Swisy, a droid with a rotating wheel with more tool arms than a standard astromech (yes, Swisy is for Swiss knife). She’s a droid Djovi noticed abandoned at the Coruscant temple when they and their friends went to help with a fellow youngling, and with the help of Nash, Djovi was able to get the droid functional again.
