We are back just in time for the weekend with two brand new guest mixes.

Both these acts are representing the Bristol based events crew ‘Get Born’.

Get Born started back in March 2013 and has continued to pack out venues around the city on a monthly basis ever since. Hosting acts such as Paleman, Kry Wolf, My Nu Leng, Tom Demac, Pangea and Akkord (to name a few) these guys really hit the spot when arranging a party.

Following their last sell-out event, at the prolific Bristol venue Lakota, we introduce to you mixes from two of their residents Monkey Wrench & Wulfpack.

Monkey Wrench, known most recently for their collaborative work with fellow production trio Spoils, really show off their tune selection abilities throughout this mix. Expect to hear plenty of dubs from themselves as well as Coricyte, Moet & Benson, Hugo Massien, Dylan C and of course Spoils.

Wulfpack are a duo mainly focused on the darker side of the tech house genre. After witnessing them destroying every dance floor they seem to play at recently, we highly recommend you check these guys out. As self-proclaimed perfectionists we are still eagerly awaiting to hear some music from these two. One thing is for sure though, if their ever-growing reputation is anything to go by we’re certain they won’t disappoint. (Wulfpack mix in post above)

Our second instalment in our mix series comes from HENRY. As familiar face on the Bristol circuit, lads know him for his skills on the 1210s and ladies…. well thats a story for another time.

HENRY takes us on a journey through house and techno using his beloved vinyl collection, Serato and turntables. Sit back, listen and appreciate this guys tune selection and mixing abilities. Enjoy!

Our Favourite trio of producers have dropped a smokin' EP through the great Fat! records. With solid groove and toe-tapping rhythm, considered production and intricate sound design, Monkey Wrench are amassing a strong contingent (which includes us!) with their unique take on contemporary house music.

Our people at One Eyed Wide, a brighton based electronic label have just released volume 2 of their fragments series, a compilation of the hottest new talent in the British and European beats scenes.  Our personal highlights include 'Methadone Metronome' by Mute Speaker and 'Plavog' by Radsch.

Our boy Menik upped this one last week. We think he's got the soundcloud genre tag spot on here with 'Future Soul'. No release date with this one yet, but our suspicions are it'll get snapped up sooner rather than later.

Applebottom put this one out for free last week via Kerri Chandler's Mad Tech Records. Love the structure on this badboy! Guaranteed to get a dance floor moving.

New SCNTST! SNM

We've been keeping a close eye on JMO since receiving his MIX001 a few months ago. He's now joint forces with producer / DJ Emile Martin to create this wonderful soulful number 'With U'. Its rolling drums, sweet pads, sparse arps & female vocals combine together to create a all round great listen. Big ups guys! We love this one :-)
