He let his gaze focus on the blonde’s beautiful eyes, his own eyes shining with hope as he spoke, as calmly as he could. “Would you go out with me?” Koyama asked, his voice soft and eyes ever so loving as he held Tegoshi’s hands in his.

Leaning closer to the other until they were centimeters apart from kissing once more, he kept his gaze steady, and even though he shouldn’t feel fear of rejection if he were to guide himself by the events of just moments before, he still did. What if he doesn’t like me as much as I like him? What if he doesn’t want more than this? Still, he wasn’t going to give up easily, not now. No way he would.

Cheeks flushed a bright red, his palms going sweaty. Butterflies swarmed him as he felt all his nerves tingle. Biting his lip and eyes lighting up, Tegoshi pounced on the boy, legs wrapping around his waist and throwing his arms around him. He laughed with joy, half unable to contain the sudden excitement. The fact that he had called him Yuya was enough to make his entire year. 

“It might be your hair, yes, but on the other hand I was blonde for a while not too long ago and people didn’t recognise me more often. And before blonde my hair had been green.” I said with a light laugh before adding: “But you sure could hide it under a wig even though I’m sure it’s your face and not your hair.” I teased and then nodded my head.

“I go out drinking as often as I can. Either with my bandmates or with my friends. I need to let loose once in a while. You should do it more often.” I said to Yuya and then bowed my head lightly. “Thank you for the invitation. Usually I pay for my friends so this is a nice change of pace.”

“To let loose I play soccer every night or go to the gym, you know when you ca feel the raw pain of the muscles. I don’t know, it just makes me feel like i’ve accomplished something. Though I do let loose when I go overseas. The atmosphere suits me better than Japan.” 

“I’m usually taking a taxi but I still take the train now and then. People let me be most of the time and only now and then I see a few taking pics of me from afar.” I said, thinking he must have it pretty tough even though I was happy he was so popular.

“I will definitely drink since I enjoy drinking and I’m sure you won’t miss out on the fun. So taking a taxi is surely the safest choice.” I told my old friend and then waited till he had made the call before answering his question.

“That sounds nice, I think its my hair, I stand out a little too much” he joked. “What do you think, should I buy a wig and hide it.”Tegoshi was certain that his former band member was more popular than he thought. “ I don’t get the chance to go out drinking, though its usually with Keiichan or Massu when they get free time.” 

He’d be lying if he denied being the type of person who fell fast, and still, it was like he’d never experienced anything like this. Which was true – how can love be the same if it’s constantly changing, growing into different paths, reaching towards different persons? No experience was like the other, and yet there was still something about recognizing the key moments that led to falling in love that make them all seem familiar in several degrees.

He let out a pleased sigh as the other responded to his actions, tongue battling against Koyama’s as he wanted to take control. Tegoshi’s mind was a one way track, it was what he wanted which corresponded with his actions. Moving closer to the other only for the kiss to be brought to a stop. Letting out a displeased whine.

Listening to the other boy, half in confusion as his thought process was catching up with him, Tegoshi’s eyes widened. He smiled lovingly to his other half, hand reaching and cupping the others cheek, his thumb rubbing gently against it. His heart was skipping miles per second, locking gazes with the chocolate orbs. It wasn’t every day, or rather Tegoshi would admit this was the first person he had ever gotten ‘butterflies’ over. He really did feel like a teenager in love.
