Derek is the long-suffering store employee and somehow-always-cashier-on-those-days when He comes in.  The kid with all the really weird and frankly, highly suspect, coupons that somehow the store’s scanner *recognizes*.  He said his name was Stiles or something.   Today, it’s a fucking Titanic re-enactment.  Derek sighs a very very long sigh.

how many times a day does he almost pick up the phone to call stiles??? how often does he daydream about going back and finally telling stiles that he never should have left??? HOW MANY TIMES A DAY DOES HE WISH HE WAS HOLDING STILES!?!?!?

How many times has Derek picked up his phone and stared at his contact list, thumb hovering over the name of the boy he loves before tossing it aside. How many times has Derek wanted to reach out but decided that Stiles is better off without him.
