Just Call me Tea

It’s really hard to write about kids without sounding like I’m only showing one side of the story. I didn’t make Behold cards because I think kids don’t really have clear traits until they get a bit older. But if I had to pick a main stat for them, both would be Wisdom. For their second high stat, the girl would be INT and the boy would be DEX. The girl’s more curious and outgoing, and the boy’s more active and good at figuring things out. So if these two are full of energy, taking care of them is no easy job!

Outside the AU (it’s kind of here, but not really @ay-its-bzzare. Ragn used to work full‑time as a babysitter — it was a pretty interesting gig) he just helped Ley‑Ley on his days off, being a good citizen. Ley‑Ley paid him fair wages (unlike Snell, who didn’t get a single coin). It was basically like a little side quest.

The kids are great and super well‑behaved. Ley made it her mission to put a lot into their education. The girl has an amazing memory and already loves reading simple but cool books — she’s into encyclopedias, even though they’re too hard for her to read all the way through. The boy isn’t as far along as his sister when it comes to book smarts, but he’s always making up stories for their games and asking her to tell him neat facts. He’s also a way better drawer than her, even though he really doesn’t like learning how to draw. So his free‑time options are kind of limited, sigh.
