She’d been trying to ignore the incessant bumping against her leg she’d been feeling ever since Kokichi sat down across from her at breakfast. She thought that if she did that that eventually he’d get bored and leave her alone. Beside, she wasn’t hardly awake enough to deal with him and his nonsense.

That all went out the window the moment she received a rather nasty kick to her knee, causing her to nearly jump out of her seat. Worst of all, when she looked up from her plate at him, he just kept on eating like nothing happened. “What’s your problem?” Himiko hissed, glaring daggers directly into his skull.

Himiko had worked so hard today. She had a show coming up, and she had to perfect her newest spell in time. She only meant to take a five minute break to catch her breath, but she ended up falling asleep. When she awoke, it was to Shuichi laying her down in her dorm room’s bed.
