mAs someone who was born and raised in Luton for nearly the first decade of my life, it’s a town that will always be true to my roots. Whilst it’s not somewhere I see myself ever moving back to, I visit regularly as I still have family in the town and I am a fan and follower of the football club so it’s great to follow and see the development and the future ahead for the club. It’s also great to see some well-deserved, positive publicity for both the town and the club too, it’s certainly fallen on hard times over the last thirty years, being caught up in the limeight of a whole muddle of bad situations and as a result reputations have been built but could this finally be a turning point for the small town that was once a bit of powerhouse of it’s time? Whilst I’m personally not a fan of the decision to switch back to the orange home football strip as a repeat of the same 1970′s era, it does give me a nostalgic closing statement for this artcile that anyone 80′s or 90′s child should recognise and that is “the future is bright, the future is orange!”
