A good way to find out which GameCube games I want. Rarity be damned. Iâll find way to get it if I really want it.
My favourite ever GameCube game is simultaneously my favourite video game of all-time and thatâs âThe Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princessâ. The GameCube version is the superior version because itâs not flipped so that Link is right-handed because he is left-handed.
All the games before Twilight Princess released on the Wii had him left-handed. All the ones after it right-handed. And the ONLY reason they changed it is because most people are right-handed and the Wii remote control was much more user-friendly that way.
They didnât have the time to change it so that he was right-handed instead of left-handed so what did they do? They flipped the entire game instead. Mirrored it.
Absolutely infuriating. I only ever played that version once and I never completed it because I was used to it being the opposite way around. The mirrored image fucked me up so bad. Never mind the motion controls.
I was just far too familiar with the GameCube version.
I have played and completed it over 10 times on there.
And I hope to do another 100% playthrough on it when I get my modded GameCube set up. Iâll likely also play through Ocarina Of Time before the remake drops too.
