This touched my heart. Everyone loved you, Cory. Rest in peace, beautiful human being. We miss you. 

So first time really going out since the passing away of an old friend, it’s weird I kept turning around and seeing the side of his face, followed by the awful realization. That it wasn’t him, ill never forget you Cory, it’s truly crippling you were my brother growing up and we went through a lot of the same things, and we talked many times, I just wish I could have done more…. I love you and miss you as does the world..more than you could have imagined….. Rest in peace, and I will never live a day without thinking of you…..

"Sombrio Beach, southwestern tip of Vancouver Island. A friend of mine said it was the closest thing to what he would imagine heaven looking like, and it was his "happy place". When he died, this is where we held a memorial for him." - One of Cory’s friends.

Some of Cory’s personal friends held a memorial service for him at Sombrio Beach, near Victoria, BC. They said, "It was a day filled with magic." (x)
