"Ah, hello there." he responded with a friendly smile, seeming completely oblivious to how utterly suspicious he likely looked to the Galactic member.

"I am but a humble academic. Although, I must admit, your uniform was of interest to me. Would I be mistaken in identifying it as Team Galactic’s?"

The psychic elite was well-aware of how badly this entire dialogue exchange was likely to end. With any luck, she wouldn’t question it. However, at the very worst, it could turn into a combat situation - the fact that she was ready to unleash a pokemon was not lost on him.

There would be no point in lying to the man, though. What kind of ordinary person would go around in this type of attire? Maybe she should have thought of wearing street clothes rather than her Team Galactic uniform... but it was too late for that.
