Oh, I called it. I knew it, I knew it. Yup, I said number six tonight. And being able to be a part of it, being involved…Like, not just on a dance level, but I got to do the trio with them, we were in the same team dance, Bindi is like…I love Bindi. Me and her got along so well and we became so close throughout the season. But for them inviting us to come back and play live for them, get to play our song, ‘Roses and Violets,’ while they’re doing the dance and watching them do it, like, RIGHT THERE while we’re playing it. It’s a whole different experience. I can’t tell you. I’ve done this for so long and that was one of the most unique experiences I’ve had. And then twenty minutes later, to watch them lift the mirrorball and I got to hoist Derek on the shoulders. Tony and Keo tried to beat me to it. I was like, ‘Alright guys, let me-let-let-you know, let me in there now real quick. *laughs* And um…it was just amazing. I’m so proud of Derek and for Bindi…she is what we need right now. This world is going through a lot of turmoil. There’s so much hate, so much crazy things that are going on. We need more light, we need more love, we need people and energy like that. […] And that is who she is. You can’t understand it unless you experience it first-hand, which I’ve had the pleasure of doing now a couple times, and that girl is a star. She is a star.

I’m literally disgusted about how people honestly believe Bindi Irwin has used her fathers death for sympathy votes on dwts. Ridiculous. Like a seventeen year old, let alone THAT seventeen year old (of all people), would really do that.
