Model turnaround for our Robot character, which Jacob has produced.

Update

Hi everyone, just a quick update on what has been happening the past few weeks.

We finished the models, shown below. Quickly Heather and I worked on the cameras and Dan and Jacob rigged the character. Then we were reading for animating, which we have now been on our scheduled animating time for two weeks which Emma, Heather and Dan are getting on with.

Jacob and I are working on texturing and lighting the scene alongside the animation process going on.

Jacob has also been researching a way of doing projection lighting for our logos so that we can have a more futuristic, robotic look.

Modelling updates, we are meeting together tomorrow to work out camera placements and start the rigging. Afterwards we will begin the animation process.

We have swiftly made progress into the second part of this assignment, kicking it off with some concept designs which I will upload next week, where we came up with changing the environment and character design of Spirit Animations winning animatic.

Already we have started on the modelling of the stadium and the character. Here are some early stadium models which Sophie has completed.

Production Schedule for part 2

The project is now taking a new direction since the reveal of the winning animatic. Now we intend to produce Spirit Animation's Animatic but with our own sci-fi take to make it unique.
