"Cheers luv! This is Team Time Punch comin' at ya!" "We are NOT a team, much LESS have a team name." "Ya look like ya got somethin' on the mind! Well come on, spit it out! We're friendly!" "Are you even listening to me--" "Well, I am at least! Talk to me!" "Ugh... FINE. But be quick about it." "That's the spirit!" --- (( This is a mostly text-based Pokemon Ask and RP blog for Onyedi and Ambrosia, Overwatch-inspired Pokemon fan-characters! We interact only with other Pokemon blogs! ))

Clarke@Ambrosia: "Eh-heh, uhm. Ah-excuse me! Ehm, I-I don't mean to sound a little..what's-the-word, hmm.. Ah! Brusque I believe, ah-anyway. Uhm, y'ih-your fur looks really, well. Really nice! And-uh, zingy. Eh-heh, uhm. Anywho! I-I was jus' wondering ah-about th'erm, well. Your-uhm, chest spike really. Ah-as it seems, well, uhm. Ah-a little unusual for Lucarios oh-or hybrids such as yourself, eh-heh-heh. Uhm, w'ih-was it really-erm, with you when you were born-or, uhm. D'ih-did it come later?"
âPlease try to relax, ahahah, youâre stuttering quite a bit there. If you have any question feel free to ask it without fear.â
âAs for my horn, itâs an adamant orb. Long story short, I was a part of some experimental time traveling tests and for the most part they all failed, but then they thought if they added an authentic Dialga adamant orb to the experiments they would get a success...they..werenât entirely wrong. It did send me through time just not in the manner hoped so the result was me getting this thing fused into my chest where my horn used to be.â
âMmmh, wish I could say, mate; I donât even have my phone with me... looks like weâll be here a while.â
---
âHaha, Crystal, 忍 çš! Come under the cover! The waterâs just going to form icicles on you, we donât need to scrape those off of you again, do we? I know you donât like those sessions... silly child.â
---
[ Seems as though Onyedi and Ambrosia have hit a roadblock of sorts and have little choice other than to stay under the canopy. Meanwhile Xiulan and Crystal are making their way back home. Will you interact with either? ]
Ah... fresh air. Skies. And above all... the distant sight of civilization straight ahead. Who wouldâve thought that the cave would lead them to the darkening outskirt shores of what looks like a big city? At least this means they didnât have much of a stretch to go through at this point.
âNngh...â grumbled the Conkeldurr as he rotated his weaponized limb with an audible bony pop. âAt last...â
âWhew, isnât that the truth! Never did fancy the scent of low-tide,â exclaimed the Pikario as she wiped the sweat from her forehead.
âI wasnât expecting a city... but at least we can find a place to rest for certain. Let us proceed.â
âGotcha!â
...
Upon entering the city, it seems as though it wasnât as lively as theyâd expect, but then again, it is sundown, so the inhabitants most be leaving their jobs and heading home, especially with how much time they spent reaching the area.
While Ambrosia couldnât help but hop around at her surroundings, clearly happy to see city life that sheâs used to seeing, Onyedi couldnât help but fit a sneer... a look of discomfort. He never was at peace with places like these. Too much noise, too much traffic, too much technology than heâs used to... moreover, many were looking at the two, but specifically at him. The way heâs dressed, not to mention that dangerous weaponized prosthetic welded on him, several looked on at him in fear and suspicion. The only thing that seems to prevent harsher looks would probably be his bouncy, light-hearted company. If someone like Ambrosia would trust Onyedi despite his appearance, perhaps others could too right?
Either way, Onyedi looked on without caring about anyone giving him concerned stares, looking for a place to stay. He has some coin to spare, the Conkeldurrâs just hoping it wasnât too late to book. However, due to him looking side to side and not ahead, he felt something -- someONE -- bump into him, followed by the soft gasp of a young adult woman and a thud.
âAh!â
â... Hrm?â The dauntingly tall pugilist tilted his head down, fixing his intense narrow eyes down at the stranger...
âOh, forgive me...!â she spoke, before rising back onto her feet dusting off her... rather foreign-looking, snow-themed dress. This woman, she appeared to be a Jynx... primarily Jynx at least. She had curious white mask-like markings and periwinkle-like skin for such a breed, Given her dressâs snowflake theme, it gave off vibes of Cryogonal, or Froslass...? She had a peculiar hairstyle; curtained at both sides but mostly over her right, and a broad ponytail thatâs somehow split at the top. Moreover, she had faintly blue-tinted glasses and blue lip coloring.
âOh gosh,â Ambrosia called out as she glanced at the icy girl, âDidnât hurt yourself, didja luv?â
Meanwhile, Onyedi just kept his glance at the other girl, unwavering. â... And you are...?â
It was at that moment that a small snowflake-like... Pokemon? Was THIS a Cryogonal? Whatever the case may be, it was quick to rush to her side via floating, hanging quite closely. It seems to be attached to her.
âYou must be new here in Corpus Caprine. Forgive me, I was just making my way back to my apartment,â she explained as she leaned forward and bowed, seemingly emphasizing her apology. âI was in a rush due to overtime from my profession, I hope you understand.
âSo you ARE a citizen then,â Onyedi questioned while merely raising a brow, âAm I wrong?â
Ambrosia glanced up at Onyedi with a pout. âDonâtchu think you couldâve accepted her apology first and given your name before asking for help, luv?â
Meanwhile Xiulan merely smirked and held hand over her mouth. âItâs no trouble, really. You would be correct, I do live here, but I havenât lived here for very long. I moved here for my job. Why do you ask?â
âWeâre in need of a room to rent for the night. Do you know of any inns or hotels?â
âOh! Absolutely!â She chimed, all while the Cryogonal seemed to be enthralled by these strangers, particularly the Conkeldurr. The Frosjynx pointed down a block where such housing businesses could be seen. âFollow this path and you shall find your way to shelter, I assure you!â Xiulan reassures with a cute clasp of her hands. âAnything else?â
âNo, that will do. You have my gratitude,â he replied. The icy Pokemon seemed to be at peace with that answer, as she began to wave off the strangers.
âHope you and your shoulder-riding friend get a good rest! You look really tired, you want to make sure youâre well-slept for when the sun smiles on you!â
âHrm?â Onyedi was a bit confused on that last bit, as Ambrosia was walking on her own earlier. He looked to the right, and sure enough, she was there.
â... Must you do this so often?â
âNot really, but I have to save my strength! You know how easily this Adamant crystal burns energy?â she chimed, twitching her ears.
âHrm... well, next to me you weigh very little, I didnât even feel you hop on. No harm done I suppose...â
And with that, the girl giggled and waved to the both of them one more time before she made her way down, beckoning to her baby Cryogonal to follow her. Onyedi and Ambrosia returned her polite gesture in their own ways as they met all the hospitable facilities...

âNnnngh...â Onyedi growled, balling his mechanized hand into a tight aggravated fist. âJust our luck...â
âAw rubbish, thatâs no good,â remarked Ambrosia as she fit an awkward smile and rubbed the back of her head. The two fighting types leaned against a wall, disappointed in their own ways over how their dayâs been going. Lots of walking, danger, fighting, with little rest and food in between. It hasnât been their day, to say the least. âWell, letâs not give up! Certainly thereâs one out there that can take us in!â
âHrm... problem is we donât know this area... itâs a grand city, yes, but how many corners must we turn to be greeted with denial?â Onyedi pinched his forehead, exasperated and under stress. Ambrosia merely patted his arm and tried to cheer him up.
âWhy donât we take a moment to rest here then? Catch our breaths at least? A brief break will get us back up and kickinâ soon, then we can try again!â
â... Very well...â Onyedi complied, he was in no mood to argue, plus it was a sound strategy for the time being. The muscled man overlapped his arms and leaned his back into the innâs outer wall, while the bright yellow jackal spun in place for a bit before plopping down on the sidewalk, arms in her lap and legs crossed at the ankles, swaying cutely side to side.
And then it started to rain.
â...â
â...â
â... why donât we rest under the entrance canopy?â
Jayson @ Ambrosia: Hello again, potential friend. While I'm trying to wonder about this type of ability you have? How did you manage to inherit an ability that only Dialga can use? If it's too personal, I understand...
âItâs a long story really! I had this thing implanted outta necessity! ... Aaaafter some mishaps involving some time-based combat training where I come from, ya see! Aheh, itâs... aaaactually not something that I should really talk about out loud like this, sorry luv! Ya may never know who may be listening, ya know!â
The Conkeldurr loomed over the other Lucario warily, his eyes narrow and scowl reserved but still firmly represented. âSheâs correct. The less complications for us, the better. Youâd best choose your questions more carefully for next time, boy.â
âWeâre almost out of the cave, I can feel the sunlight. Ambrosia, we must hurry. The sunâs peering glow is orange, you know what that means...â
âBlimey! Itâs nearing nighttime?! How long have we been in this cave?!â
âWell, we oughta get goinâ then! Sorry to cut this short, but we have to split! You take care now!â
~*and thus the two of them proceeded to make their way out of the beach cavern, rushing towards the light*~

Clarke@All: "Eh-heh-eh, ah-h'ih-hello! Eh-heh, you-uh. You folk certainly seem, well, erm. Foreign! Ah-eh-heh.. Nnnnh-not that it's a bad thin' or anything like that! I-I jus', uhm. Well. I-I would like t'ih-to know where th'two of you ah-are from, is all. I-I mean. Ah-as lon' as it is not too much of a problem with the both of you and all. Ah-heh-hah! heh-eh.
Onyedi took a moment to pause this behemoth of a dinosaur. While his face doesnât show it, internally... he was rather impressed by his size, larger than even normal Tyrantrum. If it wasnât for his stutters and seemingly anxious first impression, the Conkeldurr wouldâve outwardly expressed his approval, if by a tiny margin. Shame he seemed meek, but at least he was friendly, thus the fighting type saw no reason to greet him with a scowl, much less take a defensive stance. Upon rotating and cricking his neck, he finally answered. âSo you wish to know of our homes, then, do you. Very well, dragon... I shall start not with Ghalidor, but my true home of origin.â
âI come from a small tropical settlement in a land overseas from Ghalidor. Humid, and dangerously steeped in through the the feral wilderness of the jungle, yet ripe with colorful plant life and gifted with various fruit from Mother Earth. Itâs also blessed with a sparkling blue ocean miles from it where we not only used it for trade, but for fishing. Itâs name? Chibuogu.â
âIt means âGod is my strength,â and is NOT a settlement for the faint of heart. while it appears beautiful, the only wild sustenance one can attain from there are strictly fruit and meat. Most plants there are irritable to the skin at the least, and a threat to life at worst, with very few viable as medicines. Moreover, the more feral Pokemon that lurk within the trees and brush will not hesitate to take advantage of lost adventurers and intruders, should you not be tested by my people upon reaching our home. With how often we are surrounded by danger, we almost never take kindly to strangers. Only trusted trading partners would be allowed to pass without trial.â
â... Iâve said my part. Ambrosia, youâre free to elaborate now.â
Tsubayuki@Ambrosia: I must say, in all my years I have yet to meet a time traveler. The idea itself is an interesting one, however unless I am mistaken you seem like you have yet to gain full control of this ability. A troubling thought to say the least. Who is to say it will not happen again soon? And you seem to be bothered by this as well, worrying about those you care about. An understandable concern. But if I may ask, and I bear no malice in this question. Should you find that your family is not in this current time, what would you plan to do next? I sincerely hope that is not the case, however the possibility is there.
â...â
The Lucario sighs at the weight of this question and rolls her shoulders as if trying to reduce the tension brought about by it before then looking at the snow white rabbit, but when she was about to answer nothing came out. She looked down, her ears pinning themselves back as she tried to figure out an answer to this difficult question but she herself didnât have a plan for that either. Wasnât like she could just go back into that limbo between time with full control, she only knew how to pull herself out of that state.
Once more Ambrosia looked up the Lopunny, only this time she took a deep breath and exhaled slowly before giving her best smile.
âI donât have the answer to that question right now.â She stated with a sudden regain of confidence. âBut if it does turn out that theyâre not here, then Iâm sure that by the time I get around to that unfortunate truth, Iâll have a plan and will be able to execute it with no troubles, alright Luv~?â
Hey Ambrosia, do they still have battle leagues where you're from? You'd probably kick butt in those!
âWhat do you mean where Iâm from? You mean like...my home country? If so then yeah! We had tons of battle leagues, both legal and underground, but If you want complete honesty..I wasnât too big into the battle scene myself. Wasnât too big a fan of waking up every day with a job that required me to get punched in the face every day.â
âFunny, eh? Because even though itâs not a job, per se, Being with onyedi every day seems to be a question of whoâs gonna try and punch us in the face now, amirite? Ahahah.â
I'm actually surprised to hear you did such a nice thing for Ambrosia Onyedi. You looked like a completely merciless brute, I'd believe you pushing her away, but not expect to let her come with you. Why though? Is there something else you're after with her besides being... 'persuaded?'
The massive fighter let out an annoyed sigh. This seems to be where the topics are trending to now, and since he feels like this wonât be the last, he may as well not bother intimidating anyone. Perhaps if he just answers why, itâll get them to move on from the subject.
âLet me make one thing clear,â the deep-voiced pugilist stated firmly with wear in his tone, âI do not raise my fist for just anyone. That would be reckless. But I am not going to put a mere stranger to âuseâ either. That is ridiculous.â The Conkeldurr thus folded his arms as he eyed the grey one. This explanation was going to be fairly lengthy.
âYou might not guess this as such from a glance, but I believe in a specific virtue, stemmed deep into the my peopleâs way of life.
In a small, isolated settlement where the population is miniscule, access to only the most basic of medicines, and being primarily left to the elements to fend against, one must rely on self-improvement, instinct, and skill to remain on top of whatever life brings to you. Might⌠strength⌠that is a golden goal amongst my people, achieved only by coming on top of conflict and trials. We take pride in our accomplishments and having our home remain the way it is so long with what little we have, but it is not all we believe in.
For those who lack it, when weâre already struggling to maintain a healthy living with a small populace, we see only misfortune if we simply do away with the weak. We realize thereâs potential in more than merely muscleâŚ
We needed teachers. Doctors. Leaders. Fathers, mothers, to keep society together, as well as our warriors and guards. Feed the hungry, so they have the energy to grow strong. Teach the dull, so they know of consequences and develop their skills. Lead the lost, so they may find the courage to lead their own lives again.â
â⌠And that moment before I⌠ugh⌠âagreedâ to becoming partnersâŚâ
â⌠was such a scenario that would go against what I was taught from my homeland. She clearly has potential, but she is a lost soul such as I. I suppose you could say Iââ
âFelt sorry for me??â
âGAH!â
â ⌠how long have you been on my shoulder?
âLong enough to hear just about everything~! Dâaw, so ya really do care, donâtcha? You arenât so bad after all, Onyedi!â
âDonât let that way of thinking cloud your already jumpy judgment. I still have my own job to do, and you just happened to be someone that could use direction as much as I could. In any case, this matter is over.â Onyedi walks off after setting Ambrosia down again for the umpteenth time, letting out a huffed growl. Meanwhile, the Lucario could only snicker at the Conkeldurr.

The Cinnabunny dressed in her Jade Green and Canary Yellow jumpsuit had just finished one of her famous 24-hour streams! This time she successfully boosted herself into the Top 500 Players of HigherLook! As you can guess, a 24-hour stream requires proper food and rest afterwards. so it was a light snack then off to bed.
She walked to her favorite cafe near-by to get some of her favorite relaxing tea and a few cookies when out of her peripheral she sawâ
ââŚ!!! Crasher?!â She yelped as she ran up to what seemed to be a hybrid that perfectly blended a Pikachu and a Lucario.
âOh⌠My⌠GOSH!!!! Youâre cosplaying Crasher from Higherlook arenât you?! Oh my gosh thatâs amazing! Youâre doing her outfit perfect to the last detail! Even the chest horn! Its even glowing like the real thing too!â she exclaimed. There was something on her mind however.
âI really wish the people over at âSnowstormâ would tell us what Crasherâs chest horn actually does⌠What do you think it does?â she said with a wide-grin on her face wanting to chat with a fellow HigherLook Fan.
âWAH!â The Pikcario exclaimed before then dashing behind Onyedi and peeking over his shoulder for the source of the sudden yelp. Nothing was immediately in sight, but then Oneydi squeezed in her cheeks between his fingers and angled her head down which brought the small rabbit in the brightly colored jumpsuit into view.
âWas that you who just startled me like that?â She asks before Onyedi then shoved her off of his shoulder leaving the two to to themselves in which she recovered while leering at the back of his head.
âRude...â She sneered under her breath and returned her attention to the Lopunny.
âGeez, luv..You nearly gave me a heart attack with that outburst just now.â
âAnd what were you going on about me being in a cosplay of this thing or person named âCrasherâ? I donât know anything about that, sorry, but if I am of its likeness, I assure you itâs entirely coincidental and not intentional and as for what I know this thing in my chest does, it keeps me attached to this dimension of time and stops me from blinking forward and back between the distant futures and long forgotten pasts.â
â...â
âQuestion is, is this âCrasherâ person or thing as cute and amazing as I am~?â
Rocco@Ambrosia: "Well hey there cutie! That's a nice pair of glasses there, ever thought about trading?~" He grinned, shifting his goggles a bit. "Kidding, you can keep 'em! I'm a bit curious about your family though. I've been around a lot and never seen a hybrid like yours before-It sure must be a heck of a love story for how they met and got you!"
âI would appreciate it if you let me keep my shades, honestly...â
âNot that your goggles arenât stylish, just donât think theyâre my speed of fashion!â
âAs for me, Iâm a Pikachu mixed with Lucario, withaDialagaorbthingfusedintomychest. My mum was a Lucario, my dad was a Pikachu and when those two came together, they made me! Their fearless, fast and always persevering daughter.â
âI just hope Iâm in the right timeline and theyâre still around..â
So Amber what IS your side of the story on how you two met if I may ask I'm a tinkerer so I might understand
âFrom my perspective eh?...â
âWeeeeell he pretty much hit the nail on the head there with his explanation, buuuuut...â
âEheeeh...Nope..Not really anything else I can add on to that besides that maybe he was leaving out a few details such as how I passed out after that fight was over and he brought me to safety as well as gave me an apple when I was hungry.â
Lightning: "Well aren't you two the energetic bunch!" The mechanical gardevoir smiles, resting her hands on her war axe. "Name's Lightning! Gotta say, nice job on taking out that feral mon there! Though it makes me wonder. Have yah two ever taken out more dangerous prey? Yah know, like one of em criminals or villains yah got runnin around this region? If so, I'm sure yah got some great stories to tell, no?" She leans in on her axe, her smile now somewhat off?
âOooh! Scary axe you have there, luv! And wicked armor youâre rockinâ too! You remind me a lot of my partner Onyedi here!â
â ⌠Iâm unsure how I should take that as a compliment, being compared to some stranger.â
âAt any rate, weâve come across our Pyroarâs share of dangers and thugs, from Bisharp and Pawniard packs to groups of more calculating enemies that intended to take advantage of us, or other, more benevolent travelers weâve come across. Some were as deceptive as to attempt to strike us during moments of rest and refreshing. In the end⌠that was all they were. Mere thugs, for the most part. Preying on the weak, if not trying to steal from the strong. They knew their places quite quickly with my fist and her electricity.â
âCanât say Iâm happy about it, but when times are desperate, what else can ya do when youâre just tryinâ to get somewhere? Itâs not as though weâre LOOKINâ for trouble.â
âSuch is the darker side of reality.â A huff pushed through Onyediâs nostrils, before glancing back at the armored Gardevoir with folded arms. He took note of her twisted smile, but rather than respond with a scowl, he remained neutral, quietly examining the psychic warrior.
âYou speak as though you have⌠experience, one way⌠or another. Am I wrong?â

"My, you're certainly the fiercesome warrior, aren't you?" The Cofagrigus mused, staring at the Conkeldurr and his spritely compatriot. "Tell me, what brings an unlikely duo such as yourself to work together? And have either of you ever worked for someone others might consider unsavory?"
âUnlikely would be putting it so lightly that there would be no mass to speak of,â the towering Conkeldurr huffed as he growled into his palm. âIt was, believe it not, literally a moment of pure chance â no, out of the blue, as they say. If you do not find the idea of her accidentally⌠âblinkingâ into existence from another era as some sort of âtime warriorâ hard to swallow, Iâve little to say to you. This⌠âspirit girlâ insists on this maddening story. If you wish to know more, you must ask her. I can barely comprehend it.â
âAs of now, sheâs in a similar scenario as I; fish out of water, needing to grow accustomed of what to do of our situations and how we shall return back. Whether or not she stays long remains to be seen. I suppose a truce would be the best way to accomplish that until other options arise.â
Upon the topic of having people they work under, the Conkeldurr couldnât help lowering his head with a sigh, before facing the taller ghastly woman.
âIâve gone through several in my life,â he responded firmly. âOne of the elders of my home village, the one that taught me and my people the essentials and advanced methods of combat, was nothing less of strict. A woman whose will of steel that even pure might would be halted by, and would snap back harder at those that couldnât live up to her expectations. And yet, she knew what she was talking about; those who stayed rose to the top as honorary warriors, while the others walked away, forced to cleanse off their warrior markings out of shame.â
âThen there were the commanders of Ghalidorâs force when I moved away from my old home, to serve as a fighter for their fleet. It was what I came to expect⌠strict. Precise. Demanding. Grueling, and with an unforgiving schedule of energy management⌠but I had weathered worse, and it only made me stronger. But nowâŚâ
The Conkeldurr let out an almost primal growl of irritation, clenching his unarmored hand into a very compact fist, the massive knuckles popping.
â ⌠I currently serve under one spirit woman. A ruling figure whose underground domain I had the misfortune of wandering into when merely trying to find the shortest route to the next proper settlement through a network of mountains out in the arid areasâŚâ The meaty pugilistâs fists trembled from frustration, â⌠this soul had a grudgingly convincing means to have me serve her. Sheâs not keen on unwelcome visitors, even accidental ones, but was willing to let me go in exchange to serve as a body guard and surveyor of the upper lands for her. She says sending her undead compatriots would cause an upset, yet no one would so much as suspect NOR dare challenge me if I took their place.â
A shake of his head followed before he spit to the side, the frustration of his situation displayed clearly on that dark, narrowed, monstrous glare.
âThis woman even offered me proper payment in gold for my trouble once she deems my tasks complete⌠As much as it boils my blood to be tangled up in such a mess, the offer was tempting. This heir knew how to draw her cards. As for her nameâŚ?
Kelviks@Onyedi@Ambrosia: The Golisopod couldnât help but look at other downed arthropod, more noticing the fact of the methods used to take his brethren down. In the end he didnât feel bothered since doesnât even know who that thing is, so he turns to the two with an amused chuckle.
"Powerful duo⌠Yes yes, powerful indeeeeeedâŚâ He hisses, cocking his head slightly. âDisplay unusual powerrrs, catches Kelviksâ interrrest.â The small arms near his chest flex slightly. âKelviks isâŚcurioussss⌠So different inâŚbehaviorâŚyou two aaact, yet still work togetherrr.â His dark eyes twinkle slightly. âI have question to aaaask, how did you bothâŚmeet? Simple curiosityyy, nothing mooore.â
âUghhhâŚâ
âAhahaha! Well, ya see mate, itâs uh⌠complicated? On my end, anyway!â
âAnd absolutely nonsensical on mine, should you choose to believe it.â The hulking fighting type lowered his arms into overlapping, glancing at the massive metal-coated crustacean. Raising a meaty brow, Onyedi kept his gaze firm and foreboding on Kelviks.
âI will disclose from my point of view. If youâre willing to listen⌠then listen well. Even as I dive into detail⌠it will be fairly ridiculous.â
âIt was some time after I wound up on this land, as a result of sailing gone wrong. New territory, , no clue of where to go. Naturally I did my best to ask strangers where the next civilization would be to seek aid. I explored through forests, caves, underground mazes, became entangled in⌠unsavory mishaps, but still found my clues of where to go next.â The Conkeldurr grit his teeth when he hesitated on that note of âunsavory mishaps,â as if that was putting it as lightly as possible to the point he felt like it couldnât be done justice. A deep exhale left his nostrils before continuing.
âOnce I set back out through the lands, I scaled a mountain range as a shortcut to proper civilzation, and as I went over the ranges⌠naturally, I fought through dangers. Dragons, massive insects, whatever perils lurked on those heights⌠I fought through. It was not long before I had to weather a trial of Haxorus, which ruled this range. As I went in for the charge⌠that was when⌠something surprising occurred.â
âSheâŚâ Onyedi glanced over at Ambrosia, who just smiled, hopped a bit in place and waved before turning back to Kelviks,â ⌠literally glowed, flashed into view between me and the dragon. It was a pillar of light, like a beam from the heavens, if but for a second⌠leaving a confused girl. Needless to say, it only made the scenario far more chaotic.â The Conkeldurr growled and clenched his fist from the frustration, as this was when it only became worse for the metal-armed brawler.
âThankfully⌠she was a quick one. She stayed out of the way and even somewhat contributed to the fight, if hesitant due to her own confusion, allowing me to triumph over the reigning creatures of the mountains. Of course⌠I wasnât leaving alone, much to my dismay.â
Ambrosia merely looked on with a cute shuffling pose and lowering her ears, forcing an awkward laugh.
âAmbrosia would⌠NOT⌠STOP⌠BOTHERING ME⌠TO TAKE HER WITH ME.â This was when Onyedi began to scowl, as Ambrosia could barely contain her guilty giggling. âShe tailed me to the bottom of the mountains and through the trees, whining and even trying to stop in front of me to tag along since I âlooked like I knew where I was and where I was going.â She needed to know more about where she was, claiming she went through a faulty âTime Slipâ where she was from. Yes, âTime SlipâŚâ donât let sink in too far.â The painted Conkeldurr just rolled his eyes as he continued the story.
âIt was then I realized she was in a similar scenario as I⌠a stranger to this land, but in her case, it seemed to stretch beyond time⌠SOMEHOW. Either way, as pitiful as it was to hear, I had my own problems to solve, and it didnât make it any less ridiculous. Thus I grew fed up with her insistent pleas. It reached the point where I grabbed her by the face and threw her through the treesâŚâ
â ⌠only for her to âflashâ not only back to me, but clinging to me.â
âItâs called âBlinking,â luv!â
âWhatever,â dismissed the fighter before resuming. âI figured this was no more than a trick, so I repeated the process⌠but only to see her do this once moreâŚâ Onyedi grumbled, tightening both of his fists⌠â⌠and that was when I lost it. I wanted to strike her, my anger could barely be contained.â
âI swung. I chopped. I swatted. I swept, but that was when her powers revealed themselves even further as she was avoiding my attempts to hit her. She was not only quickâŚâ
He paused, as if recalling something⌠extraordinary. Supernatural.
â ⌠But lightning quick.â
âIt was like having spirits dance around you in a panic, as if they were in dangerâŚâ before rearing over and glancing back at Ambrosia, â⌠or being like a FLY, but WORSE.â
âHeyyyy, I was just preserving myself! What did you expect me to do?â
âHrmph,â grunted the giant before facing Kelviks. âNeedless to say, I still attempted to catch her, still tried to swat at her, punch her, even when she was on my person⌠I came close, but ultimately, it ended up in a less-than-satisfactory conclusionâŚâ

The yellow Lucario looked like she was fighting so hard not to laugh, paws up to her muzzle. âIt was q-quite an eventful day for the two of us!â
âEventful⌠is putting it lightly,â Onyedi added, shaking his head as he scoffed. âI didnât need to waste more time on frivolous things. I still have my own agenda to attend to as well, you know this.â
âMm-hm! Yep, hear ya loud and clear, mate! Iâll follow ya for as long as deemed necessary, promise!â
The Conkeldurr shook his head. He wasnât sure if that will be the case, who knows if sheâll stick to her word? Onyedi was hoping she might find someone else to tag after once this is all over. He canât see themselves staying partners for long... or at least, not at the moment. In any case, he rolled his eyes before looking at the steel Golisopod once more.
â ⌠and well, there you have it. That is how we met, but ONLY how we met, from my point of view. If youâre curious about her side⌠or if you truly wish to risk a headache, be my guest.â
