Last Saturday, Team 527 made it to the final rounds of the 5th annual Half Hollow Hills Robotics Invitational! We were alliances with the Plainview POBots 353 and the Wheatley Cybercats 2872. Here are some highlights of our alliance matches in the finals!

Congratulations to our determined and hard working team. When we come together as a team in an effort work as one, magic happens. This season is already going so well, we can’t wait to see what 2017 brings us... :D

Discussed Today:

- Our president held her very first meeting today!

- Gave dates and permission slips to everyone for the HHH and NJ invitationals

Worked on today:

- Called and set dates for park clean up, leukemia walk and suicide prevention walk

- Recruited some new members and gave them tours of every department. Had them start working on things they showed interest in

- Organized a ‘Halloween movie marathon’ for our school and community.

- Began the organization process

- Continue our goal of organization

- New Jersey Invitational: November 12th

- Chose captains for each department

To be discussed/worked on next meeting:

- Introduce Project Momentum and Project Future to everyone

- Recruit the freshmen

STUDENTS ARRIVE AT PHS 4:50AM Leave PHS at 5:15AM Arrive at North Brunswick before 7:00AM

7AM - Doors open / Robot Load in 7AM - 8AM - Practice Matches (first come, first serve - one per team) 8AM - Opening Ceremonies 8:23 - Qualification Matches 12:40pm - Alliance Selections 1pm - Lunch 2pm - 2:15 - Evil Sundae Contest 2:15 - Awards Ceremony 2:35 - Elimination Rounds 4:45 - Closing Ceremonies

Return to PHS at about 7pm or earlier
