In this post, a faerie is asking for ‘your’ name. The way he is wording it, however, and the accompanying beckoning motion, makes it seem as though he is asking for you to physically hand your name over. Which, because of how some faeries operate, he is.

In this instance, saying your name aloud to the fae would be literally giving your name over to him, the exact consequences of which are left up to the imagination–usually, a fae even knowing your name gives it some measure of power over you, but giving something your name would likely let it completely take over your life.

The origin of most Hebrew words is not from another language (or from dead languages) so words often mean something literally (the word for “bike” can also mean “two wheels”)

It was affected by other languages during the years but unlike 90% of all languages its letters and almost everything about it doesn’t come from another language (like the way English Spanish French and others came from Latin) it is independent 

It’s one of the most ancient languages in the whole wide world, we speak almost the same language as people from 5000 years ago, that is damn right incredible

It was dead for 2000 year but it was brought back to life by a mad linguist it’s basically a zombie language
