The second the barrier faded around them, Beastboy took off, shifting into a pterodactyl and flying towards the wreckage, he didnât hesitate to land roughly in the form of a gorilla, hurrying to toss away the rocks and stones from the collapsed building until he found Raven underneath
He could still hear her heart beating, but she was deeply injured, his own heart was pounding as he gently picked her up, marveling at just how tiny she seemed in this form, somehow smaller than everyone else, he knew that they could save her⌠he just didnât know howâŚ
Waiting was the worst thing in the entire world, he wasnât medically trained like Robin and Cyborg were, he didnât know hardly anything about medicine, all he could do until they came back with some information was pace around the hall, biting his nails through his gloves, and waiting, atleast until he heard the door open, thatâs what caused him to spin on his heel and face them
âHow is she?! Is she ok!?â
Its Cyborg who answers first. âThe good news little buddy is right now she is stable. And that isnât changing not if I can help it.â says the partially tin man helpfully glancing over at Robin with his good eye. He doesnât want to be the one to tell his friend the rest.Â
âThe bad news is she - well even if we do all that.â he looks back at Cyborg. We might still need to be prepared for the very real possibility that she could not wake up.â says Robin carefully. Behind him Star can be heard sniffling.Â
