I had been searching for this Paul Dini interview excerpt for so long because I had recalled there being word about Edward and Jervis opening a haberdashery together post-BTAS. I always found it odd because they hardly interact during the series' run-time. Although I can understand the basis of this eventual bond given that the Riddler would appreciate Jervis' intellect (if he avoids attempting to surpass him, that is).
I don't believe Jervis would continue to try and prove his own superiority over his fellow rogues post-BTAS, as is seen in the description of his Spectrum of the Bat action figure. Perhaps he mellowed down and humbled himself since then when he felt he needed the companionship, thus becoming good friends with the Riddler.
It makes sense. They both have a high intellect and have a fondness for riddles, even if Jervis' interpretation of that is more nonsensical than Edward's. I think it's a sweet and light-hearted closure to their respective stories, as with other rogues featured here like the Penguin, Harley and Two-Face.

i dont consider myself a 'fashion guru' by any means but one thing i will say is guys you dont need to know the specific brand an item you like is - you need to know what the item is called. very rarely does a brand matter, but knowing that pair of pants is called 'cargo' vs 'boot cut' or the names of dress styles is going to help you find clothes you like WAAAYYYY faster than brand shopping
this also goes for aesthetic or -core titles. 'y2k tank top' is going to get you resellers and fast fashion brands advertising to people looking to meet a current trend. 'thin strap crop tank top' is going to get you a diverse group of results and not upcharge you to hell and back
additionally, shop second hand when you can, second hand and thrift sites typically organize clothes by the cut and color. theyll be more affordable than a depop seller curating you a style to sell you

For anybody not caught up: Tennessee just passed a new map that pretty much makes it so black neighborhoods have no power in local votes. Two things about this. While protestors were chanting "No Jim Crow", white Tennessee lawmakers were caught laughing on video. On top of this, Representative Justin Pearson and his brother KeShaun Pearson were arrested for trying to give their takes on the matter (which is not only their legal right but literally his job). If you give a shit about black people, help fight this. We can't allow a return to Jim Crow.
