I’m gonna rec me some fic.

Let’s start with @thepartyresponsible‘s Shake the Devil Out of Me.  Look, real talk, Party has G-d’s own way with words and is so fucking smart about characters it’s painful.  And there are few things I admire like taking the rarest rare pairing to ever rare and going “yeah, I’m gonna make you ship this bitch,” which is 300000% what this fic does.  

Listea’s According to Brueghel, creates a great dynamic between Jason and Dick, and has a Jason voice that I envy like mad.

@skalidra‘s and @firefrightfic‘s Raw Nerve is unapologetic rape/noncon a/b/o h/c fic and I will just be over here rolling around in it until the day I die, k?  (And if that’s not your thing, you really should check out the rest of these authors works, together and separately, b/c they’re both mad talented.)

We all know I would marry @fabula-unica if she would have me and that I believe, if you do nothing else with your life, you should read her fic.  Let me suggest a couple from fandoms I’m not even particularly in: Touch Him, a spot on, perfect little post-Man From U.N.C.L.E. (movie) fic, and Kings of the Air, which is everything you never knew you needed after the end of Top Gun.

I’m biased, naturally, but The Blood of the Covenant by @kedreeva is such such good Derek/Chris from TW, which is a pairing that’s hard to find but AMAZING, and Ked makes it ten times more.

I fell in love with @gingersnapwolves for her TW fics, and I will always devour them like a feral werewolf, but I’m going to rec Choices of the Chosen, a Malec gladiator AU that hurts and comforts Just Right.

Continuing to rec TW fics that are not Sterek, LOL, @thisdiscontentedwinter‘s Sanctuary literally some time keeps me up at night thinking about how amazing everything about it is.  Steter, and so, so, painfully good.

I’ll finish up with @joycesully‘s Spiral Galaxy, a Natasha-centric story about her early SHIELD years that has women being friends, Natasha being complicated, and the quietest little creep of found family.
