I'm feeling really conflicted about the Heated Rivalry season 2 cast announcement. On the one hand, I really like Charlie Gillespie from Julie and the Phantoms (fuck netflix) and I think he can be a great Troy, but I'm really disappointed that they didnt cast Harris to be fat. This is no hate to Justice Smith, I haven't seen any of his work but I know he's been in some popular stuff and people seem to like him, it's just that there are so few plus sized romantic leads and a book accurate casting of Harris would have been great to see and I'm sad that we missed out on that. They didn't just not cast a fat person but they cast a very lean person and to me that's quite disappointing.

just saw a post about how tumblr has like. almost its own dialect, so i'd like to suggest: tumblr user luca haas au where he has the Tumblr Accent and a buch of in-universe hockey tumblr users are all like hey so. anyone else noticed that he talks like One Of Us?
anyways this should culminate in a fan using the "hey i like your shoelaces" line on him, and him immediately going "thanks i stole them from the president" then he + the fan make direct eye contact and just stare mildly dumbfounded for a few seconds before luca hightails it out of there (there is, of course, video of the whole interaction).
bonus points if a) harris is off to the side Doing His Own Thing and *also* responds correctly b) luca + the fan end up as friends (or maybe boyfriends) c) hockey tumblr tracks down his blog, realizes he's actually a Really Popular fanartist who's a little obsessed with hollanov, and collectively decide that This Must Never Break Containment (bonus bonus points on this if it turns out harris knows his blog too)
