Taking Back the Crown;

“ do you? ”

“oh i do. not only that, but fashion too.”

luce raised his eyebrow at the brunette as he looked up from where he was sitting, “ you have good taste. ”

“what can i say? i have an eye for these types of things.”

Lauren’s eyes continue to skim her laptop screen as she reads through numerous articles with her name being brought up every two moments, her hands shaking as she pulls the sleeves of her sweater, shifting in her spot on the couch. After a while, she rubs her hands over her face and half-slams the laptop shut to toss it into the cushion next to her, letting out a shaky breath. Her hands remain over her face as she deeply breaths in and out for a few minutes, jumping suddenly as the couch dips under the weight of someone else taking a seat, her eyes widening as she looks over to the new person just inches from her. “Uh, hi, I-” She begins to stammer, moving further into her spot as she takes in a gulp of air. “-sorry, I’ll let you sit. I was just about to go…do something.” She says, starting to collect her laptop.

“Um, sweetie, are you okay? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” Nicole asked after she sat down, obviously noticing something was wrong by the girl’s appearance.

“you, my lady, have a very good point.” luca look back down to the computer screen and examined the one she pointed out, “well now you’re going to have to choose a second one.”

“why thank you.” nicole grinned before looking back at the computer screen. “what about that one?” she asked, eyes landing on one that was a bit bigger the last one she picked out.

“ who fucking knew houses in calabasas were so cheap, i could get like three if i wanted to. but what the hell am i suppose to do with them. anyways, mind telling me which one is better?” luca exclaimed, speaking to the first person who passed by the lounge.

“well, you could throw parties in the other two so the one you’re living in doesn’t get trashed.” nicole teased before walking over, looking at the houses. “i like the second one.”

“Oh well you find out what mine is before I do could you please let me know?”

“Only if you can tell me mine.”

“Secrets? I don’t have any secret’s so I guess I’m good.” She said and nodded.

“Honey, we all have secrets. Some are just better at hiding them than others.”

a firm pair of metal blades were penetrated into the females thigh, her heels unevenly clacked against the concrete floor as she limped down the entrance of her apartment towards the rusty old elevator. getting in and pressing on the elevator button,  she noticed another person standing beside her . the girl rolled her eyes and in one swift move , she jerked the pair of scissors out of her thigh and faced the other individual. “WHAT?” she snarled.  “are you just going to stand there and stare the whole damn time?”

“You’re the one with the scissors in your leg and you ask why I’m staring?” Nicole asked, rolling her eyes. “Should I even ask what happened to you?”

“Well that doesn’t make me good.” She said and sighed.

“Well that’s kind of the point. You showed up when the producers have threatened to share our secrets with the entire world.”

“So I just got here to Venice and I’m super jet lagged. I honestly just want to get cuddled up in my bed with a cup of tea and then go to bed. Oh, I’m Lynn by the way nice to you..? I’m sorry what’s name?”

“Nicole. And soon you’ll regret showing up. We all do after a while.”

“ now i’m starting to wish we wad a cast member who was a pilot … ”

“I think we’re all feeling that right now.”
