If he listened to music I think he's like childish Gambino (especially sweatpants and bonfire, idk why. I made him while my sister, our friend and I were blastic Childish Gambino so I just added it on)
The burns on Grillby's counter is from him laying there and lighting on fire. I think before he learned to control his emotions he'd often light on fire from grief/frustration/etc.
