i know so many love los angeles but to me there's something about new york city that's special to me. I feel like the fans are better about giving us space when we're out and about, giving that sense of privacy. I just wish the media knew how to do that especially when i'm out with my kids but at least they keep their distance. if you had to choose between new york or los angeles, what's your favorite? /@prestigeprstarters

i'm partial to new york city over los angeles. even though i have a home there, it's one that gets used probably the least. now my place in new york, one of my favorites. i love it there, almost as much as i love my place in nashville. i love the privacy nashville affords me but i'll admit the adventures you can go on in new york city is always exciting. the fans can be better than some places, rhode island for example, they can mob and show up at holiday house on the outside beach all the time. can't even begin to imagine what it would be like with kids, think i'd be a nervous wreck, especially because even if the fans are being great, paps never are.

Do you remember those peanut butter cookies you made for me a billion years ago? I know it's random but I've recently gotten a craving for them again. How much is it going to cost me to convince you to whip up another batch for me? @taylorprestige

a billion years ago, damn niall, out here trying to age me past a billion. kind of rude if you're looking to get something out of me. but i could maybe be convinced to make them again, i do make the best cookies in the world, and i stand by that. as for payment...we have to figure that out.

khai has been chatting nonstop about listening to your albums today, so we've been listening to 1989, and she's learning how to dance to style on beat and it's the cutest thing, remind me to send you that video. i miss you though and i need to come see youuuu soon. @taylorprestige

we love a girl with a girlie with taste, 1989 is one of my favorites and the fans would be so proud of her for loving that. please send me video of one of my favorite little nieces dancing to my music. i'll save it forever, it'll be needed when she's older. i miss you too, gi. tell me when you're up for some company and we'll get together.

we've been friends forever and a day, and i intend our lives to be like that until the day we die, even into the afterlife actually. you're stuck with me, babe. learn to live with it. but i can't help that i'm so good at disappearing, the peace and quiet is wonderful. i highly recommend you try it sometime, just fall off the face of the planet, tell no one, and the peace it brings. or you can come fall off the planet with me?

I see why you'd think that but ultimately I just can't walk in slippers at all. I stumble and fall. Constantly. I think maybe my feet have just been made to wear heels all the time. If I'm not, I forget how to walk apparently. I absolutely love the cuddles, I even adore the whole paws all over me - but it's also a thin line between enjoying and trying not to be squished beneath them.

with the heels you wear i'm not surprised that you are more likely to trip in flats or slippers, at this point your feet are probably molded into form. you just need more practice walking in slippers again, even if you're going to fall and end up a little bruised. i have to ask, do you still have your pig too? was your pig getting in on the cuddles?

Lately the boys have been yapping my ear off about how it's been so long since they've seen their Aunt Taylor. I think it has something to do with them wandering into the room a few weeks ago while I was watching the Eras Tour. So if you have some free time in your schedule coming up sometime soon, the boys and I would love to see you and catch up since it's been a minute. @taylorprestige

do you know aunt taylor is actually my favorite role to be? so anytime i hear that my little favorites are asking for me, it makes my whole week. even if it may only be prompted by their beautiful mama watching my tour. for you i can always find free time, plus i'm in new york if you are.

Whoever said slippers are great to wear when you’re home and cozy and just lurking around just couldn’t have been more wrong. I tried standing up and getting coffee from the kitchen, stumbled over my own two feet (in slippers), fell right over one of the dogs who apparently thought I was trying to get cuddles so now I’m on the floor under a pile of dogs because they all want in on snuggles. | @prestigeprstarters

but slippers are wonderful, they're so cozy and comfortable especially when lounging around in the house. after being on tour all i've been wearing around the house are the coziest slippers i can find. i even wander around barefoot if i'm feeling extra lazy. sometimes i'll admit i walk better in heels, think we're so used to heels that when they don't have them we overcompensate. which makes us more clumsy. while i would love this in a dream world a pile of kittens but at least you're getting a pile of cuddles! there's always time for coffee. cuddles first.
