I’ve been doing this bonedeth thing for four years and six months. Give or take a few days. In that time I’ve had a few ideas about stuff I wanted to put out into the world. So now I’m doing that. Starting with this lousy t-shirt. Which is about bike racing.

Rode to Croton Dam in Westchester, NY this weekend. Such an amazing route.

Dirt roads, great company, no cars, no rules.

Cannot wait until May 11th for the CycloFemme ride.

I have to explore red hook for a school project. Do you have any ideas of interesting things to photograph there?

The piers down by Fairway are pretty interesting. There is a little museum boat that is open to the public and some great views of the statue of liberty and staten island.

Defontes (Columbia and Luquer) is a little sandwich shop that famous in Red Hook. It just got a new paint job and is very NY Italian inside.

There is a building with a big "R" on it that is iconic Red Hook material. You can get a good view of it around Delevan and Richards.

The neighborhood is still pretty industrial and in repair from the hurricane, but there is a lot of good gritty old architecture and some interesting graffiti.

Sometimes I act like a kid.

The Rapha Women's 100 Launch Party was a huge success. I was so incredibly surprised by amount of women (and a few dudes) who came out to learn more about women's cycling in NYC!

Had a ton of newbies come out for the ride on Sunday. It was a lot of fun to take it slow and teach some ladies about drafting, gearing, and group ride etiquette.

It is always nice to see hard work come into fruition. Leading these rides started as an impulse decision and now they are starting to evolve into something I'm really proud of.

Thanks as always to Rapha for supporting the growth of women's cycling.

The Rapha Women's 100 Training series starts this Sunday March 9th. Join me as I lead the first ride up 9W and back! Mimosas post ride, because who says cycling and brunch have to be exclusive of one another? Rides go out from Rapha Cycle Club NYC. Coffee at 9, roll out at 9:30. Training series rides will be held every Sunday.
