Dear Taylor, today i was diagnosed as terminal cancer patient. my chemotherapy was not effective, and there is nothing else my doctor can do. my last wish, is to meet you. my whole heart is broken at the thought of never getting to hug you and thank you for all you done for me. i am praying to meet you in kansas city, because that’s my last show. you have taught me so many important values. Fearless. don’t be afraid to speak now. your reputation doesn’t define you. your words and songs have been my escape for years. taylor, please if you’re reading this. my last wish is meeting you, getting to hug you so tight. everyone reading this, please help me.

what i do NOT understand and what i can NOT stand by is giving someone meet and greet and taking it away from them once they’ve already given you their info, been confirmed, received wristbands, and are waiting in line to meet taylor.

what i do NOT understand is why it is somehow normal to deny someone meet and greet because someone in the group has already met taylor, even when the person who has already met taylor promises it’s okay, that they’ll wait behind because they want their friends to meet taylor without them.

what i do NOT understand is why this keeps happening. every concert, it seems like someone has their wristband torn away from them, their heart crushed.

taylor, you NEED to do something about this. you’ve spoken up about streaming services unfairly compensating artists and gotten results. you’ve found out about employees of yours making inappropriate posts on social media and fired them, getting results. you can do something about this. sit down with your team and talk to them. tell them they can’t rip meet and greet away from someone once they’ve been given it, once they’re in line for it. tell them that if they forget to ask the person if they’ve met taylor before, that is THEIR fault and the world will not come crashing to an end if this person meets you again. i cannot imagine being given meet and greet, only to have it taken away. i don’t know if anything could hurt more when you know how much you mean to us, how much you’ve gotten us through.

i know this is not your fault, taylor. i know that you have enough on your plate doing this tour and hugging us all and building a healthy relationship and maintaining other relationships. what i also know is that if you understood the extent to which this is happening, you’d do something about it. so it is my hope that you see this, and that you make change happen. be fearless. speak now. do what you gotta do, but please, taylor, do something. we love you so much and we need you to advocate for us to your own team because they are not listening to us.

Hi, here’s my attempt at a tour post! My name’s Josie, and my best friend and I are going to the show in New Orleans on September 22. This is gonna be my fourth Taylor show, which is crazy to even think about! Taylor and her music has been with me for my whole life growing up. I can still remember the first time I ever heard a taylor swift song. I was listening to music on my mom’s old ipod in third grade, and back to december started to play. Immediately I was hooked, and from then on, I started listening to all of her songs on repeat! Now, I’m going into high school, and I still love her and all of her music with my whole heart.

if i’m being honest, i don’t think i would be able to imagine my life without taylor. she’s just such a postitive role model in my life, and her lyrics and poetry has helped me through so much. her poem, “Why She Dissapeared” speaks to me the most. it helped me see that your past doesn’t define you, and without going through what you’ve been through, you would have never ended up where you are now.

i also want to thank taylor for writing long live and clean! i think that it’s so amazing how much love she has for us, and long live honestly makes me cry every single time. clean is important to me, because it showed me that even when you fall, you’ll be able to get back up again. it reminded me that i am strong, and i’m forever greatful for that.

It’s still so hard to believe that soon i’ll be seeing her in person again!! I‘ll be sitting in section N, row 20, dancing and singing along to every word. I can’t wait, and I’m so excited to see the person I’ve been looking up to for years in concert again💓💓
