               "Honestly?" A sigh, cocking his head to examine the                 patter of rain. Not really a setting he wants to write                 himself into at the time. Finn shakes his head with                 a step, pressing against the back of the shelter with                 a half-cocked and sarcastic look.                 "Better? I'm not going out into the rain. I have a date                 tonight, and I prefer to not drag mud into the house."

            “I’m pretty sure  that’s  a matter of opinion.               As a matter of fact, you could probably do              to get  caught in  the rain  for a  little while.              Maybe with some soap.                                    You catch what I’m sayin’?”

             "Now you're just being mean. I think I smell               fantastic. Manly, even. What'd'ya got against               me standing here, really? I'm being nice."

How do I get back there to the place where I fell asleep inside you?

        “Okay, I see your point.                         But I’m startin’ to think you don’t                        understand the concept of                         personal space.”

          "Okay, but if I take a step out, I'm caught in the rain.            You catch what I'm saying? I don't smell bad or anything,            so I think you can handle it."

           He doesn't really see a need to allow her to spill her guts.            It aggravates him -- the confirmation of something he always            knew. Finn draws his eyes from the floor to the pools of his            ex-lover's. An exhale followed by the motion of thumbs             against his cheeks.                               "I didn't need you to tell me anything. I knew.                                I always knew, and I held on to the notion that                                maybe some part of you actually cared. I should've                                known better. You're... a mom and a wife, now.                                You have a life, and it looks like I just got dropped                                into it once again."

It was surprising -- to see such a large animal racing towards him. He could call it terrifying, but he's seen worse things in his days as a driver. Finn took a step away from the canine -- coffee cup in his hands exploding into a hot fountain of caffeine over his skin. He  winced, shaking off the liquid as he eyes the dog -- followed by its owner.           "No, she didn't bite me. Scared the shit out of me.            -- Spilled my coffee, but I think I'll manage. You uh...            lost her leash?"
