one of my favourite whump tropes has got to be magical exhaustion in any form.

that moment when a character knows they've gone too far, but they can't stop now, they have to keep going.

physical symptoms of magical exhaustion! nosebleeds, dizziness, running too cold or too hot, maybe burns if they have fire magic, etc.

maybe the magic user loses consciousness completely, causing their teammates to rush to their aid.

maybe they lose the ability to use magic for a while afterwards, having to adjust to life without their magic.

just. magical exhaustion, it's a good trope for a reason

All Set 🌄 I finished COE33 a few months ago and can't recommend it enough. I loved the game so I decided to bring a part of it over to FFXV. These outfits were frankensteined (I love that word) from like 15 different outfits found in the COE33 files.
