I miss desperately the rooftops of my childhood. The places I would scramble late at night. The places where I could scrape my knees against the shingles and see the clouds pass overhead. The places I could sit with my friends and share the giddy joy of small rebellion. The places where I could feel a little dangerous and feel a little free. I miss desperately those rooftops. But there’s no returning to them. I must find new rooftops to climb on now. 

My friend I don’t know what we’ve got. We’ve got one brain I guess. The same soul. When God was making you he dropped a piece and it became me. I love you like I love myself. I don’t wanna kiss myself or fuck myself, I ain’t raising kids with me. But I can be all alone with you. I can have fun with you. I can dance, fight, sing, drink and talk with you. I can go down fighting and stand up shootin with you. I can piss you off and make you laugh and cut this piece of bacon in half so we both get some. I don’t know what to call that. But that’s what we got my friend. We got somethin good.

I know youre still looking for “the one” pet name that fits me most but.. call me loverboy again and my heart might very well explode because of it. Do it more.

I wonder, do you understand just how much of my heart you occupy? Even if its a slow day and we dont talk much, I think of you as often as I breath, and every time I do I cant help but smile. My cheeks ache with the effort. No ones ever made me act or feel this way before.
