I've been trying to be friends with this yo-kai for awhile now to get their medal. I've bought them $500+ Dinners, got them every kind of their favorite food, and I even managed to get them tickets to the Ambrosia Pavilion, first class and all! I've given all my pocket change to them, flew them over to BBQ and back to Springdale and helped them meet their idol! And they still won't give me their medal!

I just don't understand… What else can I do to convince this E-rank yo-kai to give me their medal?

From the looks of it, correct me if I'm mistaken, you never really got to know the yo-kai. All you've done for them is very generous and I'm sure they appreciate it, but...what have you learned about them? What have they learned about you? Personally, I mean.

What? Most yo-kai don't care 'bout things like that, they'll give their medal to anyone who pampers 'em well enough.

This could be a special case—a yo-kai who only gives their medal to those they consider a real friend. In truth, I'm surprised they didn't give you their medal from the pressure of being given all these things and feeling a need to repay you.

Yeouch, when ya put it like that, it sounds like they shot themselves in both feet—lost a ton o' money and prolly put a bad taste in the yo-kai's mouth.

I like, DON'T say LIKE that much, like GOSH. You guys are like, so rude.

Like, anyways, so like, I came back to like, take my medal back, which like, I would have came up with myself, so like, my idea. And so like I snuck into the human's house in like, the middle of the night, and I found like, the book, medallium, like whatever, I don't care what it's like, called.

So then like, I opened it, and like, took my medal back, cause like, gosh, they like, don't deserve it. And I like, took the fake medals too, cause like, those yo-kai don't like, deserve an ENTIRE section dedicated to THEM, but then like, so like I flipped to the next page, and there was ANOTHER section, but like, it was like, weird and just had names??

So like, I was flipping through it, like, looking for my name, AND THEN LIKE, I saw YOUR name in it and MY name wasn't anywhere?? YOU THREE are conspiring against me AREN'T YOU!! I'm like, blocking this channel, and keeping like, my medal, and like, the fake ones too.

Those medals, real or not, are- they're more than just trinkets in a book, they could hold special or meaningful or otherwise notable experiences that the human wanted to remember through those medals! Maybe that goes for all the medals in that medallium, real or otherwise! They might've treasured YOUR medal as dearly as they did the rest, for what little you know! And just because there's not enough of your overbearing face in the pages, you thought it fit to-?!

So like later after some time I like saw them flipping through it and then I saw they had like, this entire chapter, section, whatever, dedicated to yo-kai who like, never gave them their medals?? And like, it's not like I'm being that petty but like, WHY do THOSE yo-kai get an ENTIRE PAGE dedicated to THEM?? Why can't I, like, have that?? That's like, so unfair.

Have you...considered that they might want to remember their encounters with the yo-kai who didn't give them their medals? Or maybe they'd want to try befriending them later?

If you're that upset about it, why not just take back yer medal? Being given a medal just for it to be swiped back'll certainly be sumthin' they'll write about in those pages.

Don't give them ideas, something tells me they'll go through with that. Or! You could ask them to write a page about you? I'm not sure how long you've known each other, but, from your submission alone, you seem like you have a...notable personality.

You know, I hear there was a boy who, before the first yo-kai watch was invented, made friends with yo-kai and wrote names on milk caps to remember them by. Perhaps they did something like that.

almost everyone we know is scared half to death 2 electric boogaloo about her. the only exceptions are bell, spear's cousin, and ribbon's horde of siblings.

maybe it's because she can literally vanish into any sufficiently large patch of shade and really likes to just hide in her big brother's shadow and grin creepily at things? i dunno, it's just so funny that everyone thinks she's some kind of terrifying assassin when she's actually just a very light-sensitive goofball who can hork down a whole mackerel without even chewing (she's not unique for that last part, her whole family can do that. it's absurd)

That said, if she's so lighthearted, how did she earn a reputation of "terrifying assassin"...

First of all, general psa: if a creepy doll you have is exhibiting signs of malevolent haunted activity... BURN. IT. or chuck it in a river or something, but dont just snap its head off and wait three days to contact your local paranormal expert! Ive had to explain my work to a lot of white women in the past few years, and it never gets less annoying when i have to tell them "you were an idiot, so now there's consequences!"

Second: can someone do something about the creepy ass clown necromancer? Ive seen him three times this week and before I can get close enough *zombie night!* outta nowhere! As if I didn't have enough trouble with animated corpses!

I dont know who this guy is or what his deal is, but I keep seeing him around town, and im pretty sure hes been stalking kids or something. Can't go to the police for obvious reasons so can someone like, get me in touch with a local superhero or somethin? Im only one witch!

And finally, my usual supplier of cursed objects found something interesting. You know that one restaurant chain that's like, 7 different kinds of haunted? Like the animatronics being possessed by dead kids? Well, my guy got one. Got it in an auction or something for a steal. Im actually heading over to see if it moves at midnight.

First of all, I DON'T owe this lousy mortal my medal just because she freed me. Why do most watchers come to the crank-a-kai thinking it's some kind of get-a-free-bestie-4-life dispenser and that they expect us to grovel at their feet, thanking and devoting our loyalty to them just because they released us from a capsule? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I'm out of there, but all she did was insert a coin and twist a knob and now I'm supposed to just lend her my strength? No! Not until she can prove to me that she's a strong enough watch wielder to handle my power. That's not narcissism, I just know my worth.

About the freeloading...uh, the crank-a-kai was technically my home for the past several hundred or so years and she kinda just took me away from that, so the least she could do is give me a place to stay, right? She's got a nice place, she cooks decent food, and the other yokai she got lying around here are weak enough for me to put them in their place whenever they get too rowdy. I like it here, and my the human's company isn't the worst. Annoying her has become a fun part of my daily routine. She's the one who came to the crank-a-kai to get a powerful yokai, and a powerful yokai she got. Now she just has to deal with the consequences of that.

And as for the calling me ugly comment, that's just her projecting.

Oh, and don't think that I didn't see those ideas that you two boomers and that witch were giving out on how to get rid of me. Now that I know, I'll just threaten to inspirit her worse than I usually do if she tries to pull any dirty tricks. And to my dearest human companion, if you're seeing this: SCREW. YOU. turns out, when silk and bell get together, they both become like a sliding glass door: unhinged. silk's desk is completely covered in what kind of looks like blueprints. they have chased spear out of the room so they can ping-pong the wildest ideas back and forth without him being there to mediate. i still do not understand how spear has become the sane one when it's normally silk preventing spear from doing dumb shit.

also bell brought an entire vintage sewing machine with her. i still don't know where she put that thing, her bag is nowhere near big enough to fit a Whole Ass Sewing Machine.

My neighbor is getting on my nerves. See, he's a werewolf, which is normally fine he's responsible under full moons and all, but caskets, he's got his whole pack over to watch the world cup and lemme tell ya, one werewolf frat boy is tolerable, but 12?! My cat's been off the walls.

My roommate has her girlfriend over which has been... kinda entertaining! Legendary yokai typically have big personalities, and these two in the same room tend to make themselves everyone else's problem... which is fun to watch! XD

And lastly I ran into this skeleton who keeps shoving people into dresses... especially guys for some reason. Needless to say, we hit it off!

Anyways there was this huge heatwave recently and during daytime it was too hot for me to do anything other than suffer. But i really dont like doing nothing all day so in the middle of the night when the air was at its coolest i decided to just. Sneak out.

To be honest i was just kind of wandering aimlessly as i was enjoying the more temperate weather. We happened to cross paths and they immediately proceeded to flashbang me with the watch's searchlight before i could even wave at them to say hi.

Now they keep shooting suspicious glances at me everytime i happen to be within their line of sight, and they're always giving me protective charms because the fact that i was simply walking around before the sun rose up and set the air on fire *must* have been the work of a yo-kai. And they absolutely refuse to hear me out too when i try to explain myself.

I know that yo-kai exist (I saw some weird stuff) but they genuinely believe that absolutely everything is the work of a yo-kai and at this point its freaking me out. Is there a yo-kai that makes you believe everything is caused by yo-kai? This is genuinely concerning. ;-;

Hoo, boy, where do I start... Anon, there're yo-kai for basically everything. Stayin' up late? Yep. Wanderin' 'round at night? Mmmhm. Thinkin' everything's a yo-kai's fault? Darn straight there's a yo-kai that can do that too! I don't blame yer friend one bit for thinkin' you might have a yo-kai problem.

Oh, poor soul. Even if you have perfectly good reason to do what you do, if it's slightly out of the ordinary, watch-users have probable cause to think it's yo-kai mischief. I say this because nine times out of ten, it is. I'm- *chuckle* I'm sorry you had to be the outlier.

I'm laughing at- at the irony. Anon, disregard the laughter, please, I wish you, er...

So one time we were on this mission, very easy mission mind you, it was picking up groceries levels easy! And everything was running smoothly, but halfway through this yo-kai suddenly pops up out of no where, and let me tell you they were STRONG, way stronger then your average yo-kai, and they jumped us out of no where! A complete sucker!

Now luckily we all had our soultimates ready so we all charged and blasted that guy, but they were still standing! And then they attacked us 4 and decimated our tank and healer, obliterated! just like that! Leader and I were barely able to scrape through, so it's just this stand off between us 2. Now I was right behind that yo-kai, we had softened them up real good, they were just one hit away! But I was real shaken up by what just happened, and I think anyone in my situation would be too.

So I was just standing there, kind of frozen and then Leader starts yelling at me! Saying things like "What are you doing??!!" or "Do something!!!" I don't remember exactly but it was something along those lines. But Leader yelling at me like that, made me hesitate and I guess that guy saw the opportunity and blasted us both with their soultimate!

We ended up failing that mission, and Leader was just completely furious at me, they were just hollering and hammering at me about how we could have won if I didn't freeze up like that. They were just fuming with anger, It was scary how someone so small could be so angry!

It's been days since that mission, but I think Leader is still mad at me, but it's hard to tell because they are so short.

Buuut if ya REALLY want 'em gone? I think that witch girl made a list o' ways to get unwanted yo-kai outta yer house, so you can look at that. What I use, though, when my babies start acting up, is a good 'ol spray bottle o' holy water.

Convenient, refillable, and works on just about everyone, not just cats!

turns out they were trying to modify the catio (cat patio) so dice (plushie bakeneko? she's silly and weird and loud) could like. climb up a pole and sit on the catio ceiling. dice absolutely LOVES IT and also loves to sit up there and scream. we all love her but she never shuts up. i guess that's what you get with a siamese cat

although while they were building it i did hear a notably loud thunk and then spear cussing. so either something fell on him or Gay Violence.
