Having fun with a more biological (but still fantasy) take on fairies.
I wanted them to be intelligent insects that could manipulate humans and other animals with pheromones. Causing confusion, memory loss and other effects. They mainly do this to keep themselves safe and hidden.
They're based on different insects, mainly bees and mantises for this one. I went for the mantis like body plan as I wanted them to have a pair of little hands free to use tools with. And to subtlety anthropomorphise them while still keeping them a little otherworldly looking.
This one's a busy little worker, the queen and warrior versions of her species are larger and more dramatic looking. I'm also thinking about sub-species more based on moths, butterflies, rhino beetles etc.

That was an unintentionally long break. I’ve been messing around with my movink tablet and I’ve been drawing more on that lately. I love it but it’s effected my process a bit. But I’m finally ready to take commissions again!

I’ll be trying to keep commission work from Mondays to Wednesdays, to avoid burn out and still be able to work on personal projects.
Process and Price changes
Some options have gone up a bit due to inflation, I’ve tried to include some less expensive alternatives as well.
I’ve changed how I do line work a bit. For non coloured line work, instead of hatching I’ll be adding some quick ink wash style shading as it just looks a bit cleaner (I’m not that great at shading with hatching.)

Quick Creatures
For exploring loose creature design ideas. Same process as regular commissions but discounted as there’s no revisions or wip’s. No backgrounds and standard full bodies only. Can reimagine mythical creatures, explore spec bio and any other design ideas.
Can also do fan art concepts like pokemon/pokefusions, digimon and other pop culture creatures. Within reason - I might reject certain ip's.
Mini Illustrations
A small stylized illustration with a simple character and background in a 9 by 5 format.
Mostly full body or half body, depends on the size and shape and pose of the character.
Works best with small animal characters.

I’ve generally cleaned up and changed some things on the site. Different commission types now have their own form and you can find them at the end of their respective section.

I can now send to the usa again! Tariffs will be prepaid. Unfortunately, I can’t send to the EU as the legal fee’s are too expensive. This goes for my etsy shop as well.

Digital - Clip Studio
Final spread of the Guardian Lion for my fantasy feline project. Though I might mess with the layout and text a bit more if I end up printing it.
I think I've decided I'm going to take this project on a traditional direction with some digital help. Which means I'll need to re-do the cat sith again.
Trying a new digital painting process on a new tablet. It was quite fun I have to say! And I love the new tablet.
I have some thoughts on the Wacom MovinkPro 14 and the painting on a free patreon post. With extra process pics and a time lapse video.

I'm yet again re-drawing this Guardian Lion Illustration for my fantasy felines project. My plan is to use my new watercolour sketchbook for main watercolour illustrations and some accompanying pencil drawings for each cat.

January Commissions Open!
Hi! Hope everyone had a nice break over the holidays!
Just opening for a couple of slots this January! Commissions info and examples
Updates - I've simplified the digital colour options so its just the more simple one. The more detailed one wasn't requested often and I personally didn't use it much as well. Though if you do want something more rendered the digital and traditional painting options are still available.
My Etsy shop is also open again! Though I'm more-a-less only shipping to the UK due to the American tariffs and shipping to the EU being made more complicated and expensive. I'll be looking into the tarriffs soon as I think Royal Mail has made those easier to figure out and pay for now.
I got myself a lovely big Koval Sketchilla sketchbook with hot press lana paper for Christmas, hoping to do more traditional art with it this year!
Wanted to draw my crow thing Resi to give myself a bit of luck for the new year. First time using lana watercolour paper and I'm pretty happy with it! It survived a decent amount of erasing and can handle a good amount of watercolour layers. Great for details as well!
