Here’s my piece for Light Grey Art Lab’s Bower Bird show. I drew some of my hand-dyed yarn with an autumn theme. I am so happy to be involved in this show with all of these amazing artists drawing their collections!
Part of what I wrote for the show:
“I really like to think it's like the artist would dye or "paint" the yarn and I would collaborate with them to make a special handmade item.”
Yarn in the photo is from Camellia Fiber Company. You can purchase prints or a post card here. Please check out the beautiful postcards from the show!
Here’s my piece for the Cosmos show by Light Grey Art Lab! I illustrated Neptune.
I just got my copy of the deck and it’s beautiful. The artwork and the gold detailing is just amazing! Please check out the pieces at the shop and photos of the show itself.
Coming up soon is the Bower Bird show and I’m really happy to be involved. Each artist is supplying a number of signed limited edition postcards and the previews look really great. :)
A dog illustration I drew a while back. It’s for an article about playing scent games with your dog. :)
Hope everyone has been doing well ! I haven't been as active lately, so here are some things I’ve done recently that I can post (some mother/daughter happiness and a self portrait) . ~Taryn

I had the pleasure of being part of Light Grey Art Lab’s show, BOSS RUSH. For my piece I drew Sniper Wolf during her last battle in Metal Gear Solid.
There are a lot of fantastic artists involved in the show, you can buy prints from the show here!
I did this poster for La Guarimba recently, check out their website or tumblr to see the other posters and details of the film festival!
"Sometimes it feels like every time I see my dad I detect a behavioural change that reminds me that his disease is progressing; a taunting reminder that we are losing him, piece by slow piece, to the world of dementia."

Globe Travel: The 30th Annual Hall of Infamy - Globe and Mail (2014)
Cover and spot illustrations of the weirdest travel stories of the year. This was a really fun project to work on, the article was a blast to read!

Just Us for Christmas - The Globe and Mail (2014)
I did this illustration for The Globe the other day. It was in the same section as Daniel Fishel's cover illustration, you should check it out!
Happy 2015!
I did this illustration for yesterday's Globe and Mail, I really enjoyed working on it. It was about how this couple found organic vegetable delivery too overwhelming. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/facts-and-arguments/tangled-up-in-green/article21972144/
