The “psi” was inline with the valve 10 Miles ago, but now the tire has rotated 10 degrees on the rim and valve will tear out soon if ridden like this. The Kenda Kaos 20x2.8 tire is definitely stretching out in a bad way. This was happening every few months (100’s of miles) after installing the tire, now it is happening every few rides. Time to glue it down until this tire dies. Rubber cement? Any other recs? Need it to be non permanent and not too messy so I can change flats on the road. Props to this dude for dragging a jet ski up to the ski hill parking lot at 9200’ for the last couple days. Also, sweet ladder too. I am a big fan of boats and other watercraft resting in high altitude places far far away from use, especially when they are rotting in the sun. My neighbor has a gem of a jet ski in his back yard that has not moved in at least 7 years, but that is only sitting at 7300’. Been growing my hair for 3 years. Worked out well for the seventies ski costume theme for the 50th anniversary Chama a hike a classic race. I like how it looks like I am some sort of ski Sasquatch trying to catch and eat the smaller skiers ahead of me. The Chama race is fun as it is usually super soft grooming and a constant puzzle on how to ski it without burying your pole or missing kicks or staying in the track too long in the downhill and flying off the course, all at 9800’ altitude. A special challenge for me as missing kicks really makes my back hurt. Somewhere in there I am racing as well. Anyway. 9 hour layoff in LAX left ample opportunity to take a Lyft out to playa vista library Metro Bike station and then ride along Ballona creek to the ocean and down to Manhattan Beach and back up to Dockweiler beach and then waited a long time for a Lyft back up. Metro Bike is a good bike share. Reasonably priced $1.75 per half hour.
