Agree to every one of Maki's request during the Glowing Dawn Anniversary. If you come home too early, it will also lock Kyo's backstory (which, as mentioned, you also need)

Never visit Asuka in the hospital as Kyo because you need to up his longing meter.

Since I get a lot of questions about this: YOU DON'T NEED TO DO INVESTIGATIONS. The plot will move itself without you doing anything. So there's no need to actively find out the mystery behind Asuka, even if the plot seems to be trying to tell you to do something.
