John didnât remember too much after he and Kit used that healing spell to shield and heal those members of ARK after the ambush with the âvoidsentâ hunters. He thought he tried to at least walk, though from what Tanya told him after he finally woke up from a day and a half sleep, he was more being drag when Selthrana, Toki, and Hikari brought him back to the Duskbreak. A hand appears in front of him, holding a bottle of Ether. âReally, Tanya, Iâm fine.â
Green eyes glare at him, as the red head hyur push the ether into his hands. âYou pass out as soon as they drop you into bed,â Tanya says, arms cross in front of her chest. âItâs a wonder that Warren or Howl didnât come in demanding what was going on and what happen to you. Iâm sure they heard your screams when the nightmares started.â  He makes a face at her. She watches as he rub his head, âBe glad that it was just my fist to the back of your head instead of my staff. That was a stupid and dangerous stunt that you and Kit pulled.â
âI had to do something. Khy and the others would have been killed if I just did small heals to them.â John says, downing the bottle of Ether, grimacing at the taste. âIt had to be big and it had to shield them until the spell heal them.â He watches his sister rub her forehead and decided to at least change the subject. âHas there been any word about Hannah?â
Tanya shook her head. âIâm sure sheâs fine. If she wasnât, we would have heard about it from Warren.â She watch him look at the window. âLook, you head down to the Grindstone and Iâll stay here. If she comes back to the Dusk, Iâll let you know and if sheâs at the âStone then you can let me know by Pearl.â She watches him nod, moving to the door as Kit left her seat on the book shelf, much to Sassy dislike. The half grown kitten hand been near to reaching the top shelf and the fairy.
Tanya step out of Johnâs room and made her way to the front room of the Duskbreak. As she settle into the chair, she could only hope that this calm before the war finally broke loose would last but she was sure it wouldnât.
