Name dropping is allowed, however please do not call people out for something trivial. Be reasonable with these vents and DO NOT BUG ANYONE MENTIONED. I am not responsible for you being stupid.

Serious allegations will require proof. If you do not have receipts to back up claims, do not say them.

This blog will be unbiased, I am not going to say anything on vent topics unless it pertains to the blog topic posting. I do not care enough to tell you what I think and frankly, I do not believe it matters what I think. These asks will not be a reflection of my own views. This is a space for those in tanucakes to be petty and to vent, so go nuts.

I can't blame them, I would also want to get my money back if the cs I'm in is basically rotting away. Anyway, I wish it was easier to get premades because they're very cute lol.

I've decided to keep all my tanucakes since I really really like dog/canine creatures more than cats or bats, and I'm banned from Succubuns.

Most Mascot CS aren't my favorite and I preferred the slow-paced and small events every month for Tanucakes. Pretty sure that's why they got so burnout, can't really blame them for losing steam after having new Succubun competitors steamroll them unpopularity.

But there's been like those old complaints over the last year of tanus or so of people seeing Kuyuma take major inspiration from people's personal MYOs for making real currency adopts (Champurrito's taiyaki tanu design for example) or their own MYOs. I've even got pretty suspicious over my OWN design that now shares a lot of design elements, theme, and color placements nearly 1-to-1 with one of Kuyuma's tanus they've made for themselves after mine was approved.

So I don't really feel like staying around and enabling them to keep doing that despite how pleasant the rest of Tanucakes was...

I really want someone else to make a food/flavor based dog/canine CS similar to how tanucakes ran, even just a mascot cs with a dog/canine species option-- because devidogs just don't cut it for me because of the mendatory devil features + I've found the antomy requirements don't work well with my style 😞

I think they were new? Because they didn't have any Tanucakes and they were trying to trade some one-offs to get at least one, my first interaction with them was a trade for 1 of their one-offs in exchange of my inventory (because let's bfr, it's almost useless to have so many items for a specie that's dying) I didn't want anything I had so I gave them whatever they wanted.

It was okay, it was just another trade and probably it'd be left like that, right?

Well, not really.

I had this really cute Tanucake I decided to post an ad for EO on swaps, the offers were quite disappointing but whatever that's besides the point, I specifically said that I wanted swaps but this same user came to my DMs offering the same inventory I gave them.

They were saying stuff like "your tanucake is basically my dream tanucake, I really love her!", first of all I found it rude to assume my tanucake's pronouns but whatever I guess, I can confirm it wasn't a she at all. Second, saying this stuff to me won't make me want to basically gift my $55 dollars PNG y'know?

I rejected their offer because as I said it's not what I was looking for, it should have ended there right? Well, no.

They came back and now they were trying to trade some one-offs and their inventory again, despite me asking for money in my ad. At that point I was selling all my tanucakes because I got bored, I wasn't looking for characters or useless items.

I gave them a vague reply, fortunately I sold almost every Tanucake I had before so now I didn't have to worry about them getting into my DMs.

I won't name-drop them because I guess they didn't try to be rude and it's just me having very low patience, but whatever I guess. It was definitely a Closed Specie experience.

It doesn't help that they used the most basic concept ever, y'know those dessert dogs/cats species? Well, this is basically the same shit but make it critters instead of furry.

And let's not forget that the admins are on bad terms with other pop artists and have been caught plagiarizing (for some reason they have a weird obsession with Hacubii), so I'm not surprised Tanucakes is just rotting away.

I feel like what also killed the specie is having a LK when they never had an established lore before, you can tell that world building is not their best skill.

Take a look at other species that are popular today and almost everyone wants a premade or MYO, do you see the difference?

Tanucakes are cute but just selling cute designs won't make your specie survive.

but if it's the former, what. that's not the designer's character anymore, are we seriously restricting what people can do with their tanus when it's not ours anymore???
