26er corratec “Husky Bow 205 XS 2/3" (1992?) used to be an MTB with optional suspension fork but i find it's best for me at 5foot3 / 164cm as a BMX suv cruiser. All details were optimized for my needs over the years. Short cranks (bmx jet racing), narrow axis (110), bent handlebar (17° back sweep) with narrow-wide grip options (17cm grips with small diameter, textile tape over rubber tape). Short aka "Ladies" version of the Brooks B17 Special Saddle, it has a narrower Nose, so i experience no leg-chaffing and with a length of 24cm it's ideal, when standing in the pedals, for a bike with short reach - but it's no good for getting behind the saddle. Pedals are totally flat, allowing for narrow (ergonomic) or wide (hands free, balancing) leg stance. Short plastic pins for barefoot shoes. Suspended carbon seat post. Mirror in an ideal position for avoiding collisions (but not for seeing). Rapid Fire Shifters (claris, brake-shifter unit) are problematic with BMX bars. The cable collides with the bars. I put the right side shifter to the left side of the bar (so its in the front of the bar) and trimmed the shifter a bit. The bag is for the lock. The extra narrow rack has a low hanging bar, so i can sit on the rack and have my legs hanging over the panier bags. I have a folded foam mat on my rack, attached with velcro tape, it's meant to be used for sitting on the ground. The tires are Big Ben 55, fenders are curana 55er, good match. Self made attachments. Narrow-wide chainblade and claris deraileur (nice color but no clutch). Lights are battery based. I totally love this frame for having two top tubes, as i grew up adoring BMX bikes like this. I love the lavender color too, its roughly RAL 290 50 15? Maybe 4012. Unfortunately it has vertical dropouts.
