With the other’s sudden action, his eyes widened for just a second before sighing in his breath as they narrowed their eyes down at the other. Though they showed no signs of wanting to push the other away, instead, they lent them his shoulder until they calmed down.

This doesn’t stop them from staying quiet however…

“That’s obvious, it’s because you live alone and barely go out.” The half-youkai bluntly stated without batting an eye. “You’re cooped up in your workshop and humans can’t completely go on by themselves when they’ve begun socializing with another…”

“When you’re done experiencing a hangover, visit the hakurei shrine maiden and just hang out. If not, you could just go to the shrine at the youkai mountain and talk about your work with the shrine maiden there.” Suggesting this, Rinnosuke went on to rub the other’s head gently, hoping to ease the other’s current state.

The mention of the shrine maiden quickly brought her from bawling to cowering fear. “N-No...” She whimpered, looking to him like he grew a second head. “L-last time I went near the crazy maiden I ended up with two broken tanks and a broken arm.”

A fairy, interested in what she’s building. Rika takes a moment to laugh at this before choosing to humor the fairy. “Alright, If you’re interested, I’m trying ot find a way to make the bearings in the Shrinebuster MK4 less friction intensive, and lower the heat output so I can use a much lighter, stronger material for the treads. The problem is the heat from the current bearings is too much for the new material to take without melting into some kinda slag.” She said, looking to the fairy to see if she was still there, or if her head exploded.

Cirno simply looks at Rika as she spoke, nodding along. To be perfectly frank, she had pretty much no Idea about three fourth of the words that the engineer spoke, it simply going in one ear and out the other. But she was still there when Rika looked over, so that probably says something. Though the probably more shocking thing was that she was tapping her chin in thought.

“Hmm…” ding dong does the liightbulb in her head “I got it! Here, use this!” She reaches back and proceeds to pop free one of her ice crystal wings floating behind her, holding it out her

“You said you’re having trouble with heat right? Well this is super duper cold, so it’ll keep anything you keep next to it cool. Plus its really light, and you said thats one of the things you needed right? Problem solved!”

“Cirno, do you have any idea how damn near impossible it’ll be to use an ice elemental crystal to make the...Wait. That’s impossible.” Rika mumbled, puttign her hand to her chin and grabbing one of the many Kappa made pens to go to her drawing board, placed next to her drafting board. One for doodles and calculation, and one for legitimate developments. “Now...if I know how this ice crystal works....No, nonono.” She said and started scribbling down on the large pad of paper, numbers, drawings, scribbles, and a multitude of other things filled the paper as fast as she could make it.

It took more than a few seconds for Nitori to realize the lump below her was not simply her backpack, but the enraged tank engineer as well.  A yip and rolling squeak later, and the Kappa rolled herself under the weight of her own backpack.  “Gyah!  Ow!”  As durable as she might be, a sack of battle implements was still a hefty bunch to squeeze in one poor fabric pouch.  Her pouting face barely stuck out with that green cap slipping down. Amazingly, it had survived the battle.

“You’re…you’re the one that pointed a rocket launcher at my drill!  Hic!  Now I gotta rebuild everything!”  She crosses her arms, putting her chin between them.  “I don’t even have Mr. Smiles to rely on now…”

“Ugh, maybe if you stay outta my stuff and don’t sneak up on my again you little…” Rika grumbled, shaking her hair out and looking up to the ice fairy. “Help me out of here would you?” She said, offering a hand out.

“But sneaking up on people is the fun part! It causes the best reactions.” The ice fairy would still be giggling a bit as she reached out and did her best to help pull the engineer out from the pile of stuff. “So what ya workin on? Is it super cool?”

“W-Why you fee…feeeeeeeel….felt….feeet.” She mumbled as he started stripping her. Her arms wiggled a little, almost like a child trying to undress themselves when they clearly don’t know how. “Why you hic felting me up you big mean…person…thing.” She said drunkenly, then instantly fell down again, onto the floor this time. “Ow. D-Don’t feeeeeelt me…” She mumbled into the floor.

She’s going to have a concussion if not permanent brain damage if she falls again. Luckily, the other could still talk, so she was clearly fine. Maybe… He’s gonna check their head once he sits her up right at the very least.

“Shut up, will you? Your clothes smell of puke and the same could be said for around your mouth.” He’d grumble a bit as he goes on to undress the other quickly before putting on some fresher clothing for them once they were done washing the other up. 

“Riiiiiinnoo....Rinnna...Rinske.” She mumled as he helped her sit up again. “Why’s it so lonely here?” She mumbled, not exactly fighting him now, and letting him have his way with cleaning her up. “Issso quiet and...and lonely.” She said, her words getting quieter and quieter, only becoming a whimper at the end.

And cue said fairy laughing her little cold behind off at the reaction. She wasnt quite expecting that reaction but it was a good one none the less, cirno leaning over the downed girl. “Hehehe! You’re funny, you know that? I think we’re going to be good friends!”

Attempting to take the duck illicit an angry reaction, a large amount of drunken angrish. This reaction lasted until she took a moment to mumble, “Don’t feel so good…” and vomited on Rinnosuke’s shoes. After this, she fell into a half aware state, limp in his arms, allowing him to take her where she needed to go. In the morning she would feel terrible…if the hangover doesn’t kill her.

He expected the worst possibility to happen, but still, ew… After he’s done taking care of Rika, his shoe will get his full attention next, after cleaning up her place anyway.

Once Rinnosuke does take her to her bathroom along with a change of clothes, the first thing he’d do would be to undress the other to just their undergarment at the very least before taking a wet towel and using it to wash them up, especially their face.

She didn’t seem to respond until he put his hand near her face, where she tried swatting his hand away, leading to a cascade of actions that ended with her face down on the floor, covered in a mix of vodka and tequila, and the duck sitting on her head. Even drunk it gets the last laugh.

Yeah… He’s going to assume that you’ve had too much, Rika. “Well this isn’t good…” The man remarks as they squat down infront of the other before attempting to carry them off.

“It’s no good for you to stay like this.” Especially since they were drenched in alcohol right now. So, the sanest thing to do right now would be to take her to her bathroom and at the very least get them a change of clothes. More importantly, the rubber ducky’s gotta go, or at the very least stay on her desk for now.
